The biggest problem I see with this being built between NY and LA or really much of anything and CA is that they sit on different tectonic plates. How do you build a massive tunnel through an area that is constantly shifting? I'm not saying it can't be done, but it seems like that would be one of the biggest issues

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but if they do a Batman Beyond movie there are really only two actors you could get to play the elderly Bruce Wayne.

Don't worry, judging from Brazil and a few other Gilliam works, I doubt the love story will be quite so cut and dry.

I swear to god, if that tattooed guys sneaks up on me one more time...

Well said!

It was Wolverine in the future that got his flesh blasted away. In the comic it is Kitty Pryde, not Wolverine that travels through time. So the future Wolverine is killed, but the present day Wolverine survives, and then maybe averts that future so it doesn't happen.

Ian McKellen is 74, Patrick Stewart is 73.

What's sad is how many kids I know whose parents refuse to look into medication to help their children survive in the world because of this kind of nonsense. I'm not saying every kid has ADD, but I have dealt with students with severe behavioral issues and attention deficits, who have been told by teachers and doctors

Yeah, I think that is a lot of it. Poor choices to for Ford. Seriously, besides Temple of the Crystal Skull, name a movie he has done in the past 10 years without looking at IMDB. He's made about 13 since Air Force One. Almost all have been flops. That takes a toll.

It actually sounds more like it was the Marlboros

Yeah, but every role he plays anymore he just sounds so tired. And he has had such a string of flops as of late I can't help but feel it is taking a toll on him. I really liked him as an actor, but he just does not seem to be the same as he used to be. Age and failure have definitely taken their toll on him.

Arooooooooo!

So you just upset about 200 Scots with easy access to whiskey? That'll end well...

What happened to Harrison Ford? He just seems to be so tired in his roles anymore. His voice sounds like the Mandarin's from Iron Man 3, and it just feels like he is repeating lines, not actually feeling any emotion behind them. The last film I actually remember him showing any real emotion in was the last Indiana

Personally, I look forward to the day when our greatest obstacle to space travel is boredom. Perhaps we can teach the computers to play games with the astronauts?

Personally I like to think that our future will be more in line with something like Doctorow's Down and out int the Magic Kingdom, eventually turning into Bank's Culture. I think a future without want, kind of a techno-socialism is probably the most likely Utopian vision of the future we can strive for.

Whoa now, let's not get crazy! There is far too much TV swag to pass out to make room for a comic book booth.

Another Syfy shark movie. woo.

I understood all that you said, I just didn't understand why there was such a unified critical attack against this film. I expected more diversity in the discussion, but it seems as if all critics are united against it (certainly most of the online ones are) yet the public seems to love it. What is the reason for this
