I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the man is a national treasure!

I know they are owned by 2 different studios, but I was kind of hoping for a small James Howlett shout-out in the Cap movie.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I loved Hugh Jackman's take on the character, and I was a pretty hard core Wolverine purist, but I think audiences are going to get a little tired of the character if they just keep sticking him in everything. There is a new X-force movie in the works, and Wolverine is in X-force now, so

Oh yeah, I'm aware of the precedent. I've read the comics since 6th grade and I am well aware of how he is portrayed and over portrayed. He makes money for marvel, so put him in everything and watch the money pour in.

Yeah, they just filmed him in his back yard and called it a movie.

Mom?

Reminds me of the scene in Star Trek 4 where McCoy is in the hospital listening to the doctor's describe Chemotherapy and equating it to the Spanish Inquisition.

Wolverine in Avengers? Awesome. Let's also put him in Spider-man, and Doctor Strange, and heck, even Ghost Rider 3 (which I hear is will involve Nic Cage lighting his head on fire and just running around for half an hour screaming. I'd watch that).

I had the same thought about that.

Along the same lines, a while back there was an article about how few females have put out science fiction novels in the last several years. A small part of me wondered if maybe there are more women writing science fiction than we think, and are using false names to do so. I understand that Rowling was just looking to

The problem is that in trying to appeal to everyone, it might just end up appealing to no one.

I would be awesome to have more female heroes on the screen, and to really flesh them out, which is not marvel's strong suit right now.

I smell sequel!

What, but I've already written the next great shark themed film:

Ha!

I would also add that the original Animated Series took some kind of lame Batman villains and gave them a cooler and darker edge. This show seems to be doing the opposite, by taking a bunch of darker characters and giving them a more lighthearted sheen.

I have to say, the new Batman show has me confused. Mainly because I am trying to figure out the target audience? Is this for older fans or younger fans? They say that they want to explore the darker parts of the Batman story, but it's on at 10 on Saturdays. Plus, Professor Pyg? He was a horrific villain in the comic,

I would totally love this provided 2 things

What?! A non Native American playing a Native American? What kind of madness is that. Hollywood would never stand for it! You might as well cast, I don't know, someone crazy like Johnny De...er...um...never mind.

This was such an amazing event. It is really sad to me that we no longer have stuff like this anymore. I have always wanted a world's fair type event, but in the age of instant communication everyone just wants to know everything right away, so there big unveiling never really occur anymore, at least not on this
