I really hate when people miscategorize mistreatment as “being tough”. I’m so glad you told them to quite. It’s so easy to convince yourself that it is just what you need to deal with. Doesn’t matter if you boss is a man or woman, it’s unacceptable.

Good lord. Bezos really should have applied stricter criteria to this relationship than “She’s the same age and pretty similar in appearance to my wife, but more of a celebrity”.

Throwing things in a professional setting is b.s. I have called out employees who did the exact same thing (threw something, didn’t aim it at someone, but it hit them anyway) at my place of work.

Some asshole tried to recruit me with that guilt and terrorist tactics bullshit at college. Paraphrasing: “Will you stop sinning and accept Jesus?”

I still think his inner asshole shines through with his “Hey parents, I’ll put you on TV if you act like a jerk to your kids and make them cry” schtick. They parents are willingly putting themselves out there but every time I see those I feel bad for the little kids. 

But the uncanny valley is real?
