They are both called Lycanroc, it’s different forms like Shaymin, except they are based on what game you evolve Rockruff in. So its Lycanroc (Midday Form) and Lycanroc (Midnight Form).

Generations isn’t connected to the main anime, so it won’t be using Jesse and James. It is being made to showcase side stories from the games that were never put into the main anime.
