It's...oh, it's another Assassin's Creed game and seemingly indistinguishable gameplay-wise from its predecessors. It undoubtedly looks beautiful and there's a lot going on, but I've played one Assassin's Creed games too many, I'm afraid.

Ha! Yes! Ever since goddamn Altaïr, we can't ditch the fucking hood. Then you have something like Watch Dogs with a concealing hat AND a face mask. You KNOW he means business...

That's what happens when you develop a hero (Indy) in the height of the 1980s when we were told to spend like no tomorrow and believe in the power of the individual. Hell, look at the other action heroes we had at the time. Now, it's post-2008 and all the 'best' heroes are those wearing a fucking hood and talking in

Ha. I just thought: Oh, here we go again, a grizzled white dude screaming at the sky. I'm sure it will be a hit.

Speak for yourself! ... Shit, that too is an overused turn of phrase. Never mind.

Something tells me he might be daisy chaining a few surge protectors. Naughty, naughty man. Oh, be right back - *responds to smell of smoke from living room*

Possibly your best post ever, Luke. It shows how trite our scriptwriting can be sometimes. Oh, and here's to E3. Cheers.

Must have been one of my episodic hallucinations then. I often have them when people make dick-ish comments. =P

Though sciteach wins it by a margin for me, FoeJRed's is a very close second. That was well thought out. Nice one!

Nope! I'm sorry, I surrender!!

If Nintendo shows Zelda/Mario etc AND announces that Capcom/Konami or whatever is bringing more awesome third-party games to the system in the vein of yesteryear, then that would be worth something. Sadly, this isn't 1988 anymore.

Absolutely brilliant. Loved it. It filled me with a deep sense of nostalgia and I kind of wished it was real. Fantastic work.

Of course. Sorry. Thanks for setting me on the straight path toward enlightenment. Your opinion shines down upon me like god rays from the heavens. I feel myself ascending to a new level of being. A weightlessness surrounds me as I realise that someone else on the internet truly has all the answers. It tingles. Are

Ha, yeah...a real revolutionary spirit! =P Actually, now that I look longer at his account name and avatar, it really pisses me off. Anyone who's that overt about their political leanings is usually a self-centred nut job. And that pendulum swings both directions on the political spectrum, so you're not safe if your

Totally agree. IGN just forced Sony's hand and it worked. In this instance, I say kudos to IGN despite everything else about them that leaves a disappointing taste in my mouth!

Beautifully stated. And I suppose I won't be looking to leave my PC games as inheritance when I die, so ultimately, what the fuck does it matter in the first place? Of course, the same could be said for many renting/licensing models. =P

Fuck, that photo is badass. I'd play THAT game.

"If I walked outside right now and shot some random stranger and said the Easter Bunny made me do it, no one in their right fucking mind would take that"

You belong in the 'rational choice' category of thinkers, and there are so many problems with that line of thinking. They pretty much neglect every social, economic and external strain acting on us at any time. Is it 'free will' that's always keeping someone from committing a crime? Can 'free will' explain why some

Exactly. I can't even remember when I was twelve! What on earth would spending taxpayers money on imprisoning them for life accomplish? Take that same money and give them professional help and guidance and yes, some form of punishment. If it's deemed they're unsafe to society after all that and after they've been
