You can almost hear the "WTF" in your head from the ducks at the end.

If you could do lower case, iGOOG would be deliciously horrible.
Granted. But if the guys didn't have to marry whom ever Dad said too, maybe the red light district would have seen less traffic. Just sayin
I love the article, and the comparison to practices of the past is very interesting. That said, what's with the implication that it's only the girl that got screwed over by arranged marriages.
Granted, the A10 is badass, and I believe currently in it's 3rd edition, the A10C, which basically means every 10yrs the upgrade the cockpit with new computers, controls, and consoles. It just says a lot that despite the importance and dominance of that role, the AF has spent god knows how much over the last 40yrs…
+1 for the paintball reference.
Damn this is tempting. My only criticism of my original nook is that my instinctive action is to try and touch the e-ink screen to select things. That being said, I'm not sure the upgrade is worth the money (although it would be if it wasn't a replacement), particularly given all the cash I've dropped on toys lately…
Sounds like the Lockheed MO. Why build something on time and budget when you can deliver it years later for twice as much.
They stopped making the F-22 and it's supposed to be replaced by the F-35. Anything that the DOD slaps joint onto implys multiple services, in this case, the F-35 is supposed to have Air Force, Navy, and Marine versions. The theory is that since all 3 services will have fighters that are 80-90% the same plane that…
This is great, but to be honest, the old nook app looked so good on the Xoom I thought it had been updated for tablets.
I've always been in favor of conceal carry, but my enthusiasm just got pushed to a whole new level.
"Normal enough for high school. Kind of pathetic if you're Facebook" - When you consider that the CEO is barely out of High School, maybe not so surprising.
I'm not surprised. I felt from the getgo that this was an attempt to drive 3rd party providers out of AppStore so they could funnel consumers back to iTunes/iBooks. Ultimately I think this will end up biting them in the ass.
Not really. I've got a pc hooked up to a 52" TV, and text is not easy to read from the couch. On the rare occasion that I'm messing w/ text on it I'm usually standing right in front of the tv.
This will make for a interesting legal argument one of these days. For example, if my understanding is correct, I can record the sunday game and watch it again, maybe have some friends over. This is still considered "private use of our audience". Now lets stretch that a bit, and my friends and I are now enjoying a…
Agreed completely. I've got a simple case for it and haven't felt the thickness that Zonky describes is a problem either. In fact, I'm waiting for the otterbox defender case to come out for it, and that's really thick. But I'm a big dude, so I try to keep in mind the Matt and the other little people will have…
Sounds promising. But that's what I said when Google TV was first announced too.
Well, to be fair, when your holding something up w/ just the muscles in your fingers, particularly for an extended period of time, .3 lbs can make a difference. So I understand why Matt feels the way he does (article title is a little over the top though). That being said, the extra weight on the Xoom hasn't been a…
Nothing is ever free. This is either being paid for buy the tax payers, making it a stupid burden on the community, or covered by the drivers fee to park there, making it a rather clever incentive IMHO. Here's hoping SF got this one right.
I never really got the big "scandal" here. Google has always been really up front about what they track. Apple, maybe not so much, but anybody walking around w/ a GPS enabled iOS device that didn't think it was gathering that location data, I've got a bridge in London I'd like to sell you.
