why, when they leave Twitter, should they then go elsewhere?
As Matthew Catania said, a film or television adaptation brings in a lot of money to the creator of the book or comic (more than all but the hugest bestsellers make for their original work), as well as a lot more fans. Even a relatively unsuccessful movie or television series has a bigger audience than most books or…
Adaptations of books help support the people who made the books. Unless they’re one of the rare mega-name authors, adaptations are great advertising for new readers to read the originals.
Way to miss the point. I get it, because it totally contradicts you’re point, and you clearly have never been on a set, so you’re making up a scenario where some random women PA ran to a non-existent HR to make a spurious “me-too” complaint, because that’s what you want to believe.
lol too cowardly to spell shit all the way out.
As a southerner steeped in the tradition of drawled backhanded compliments and innocently polite insults, I salute your cruel and savage agreement.
You don’t even know what he’s accused of yet, and already you’re just so angry that anyone would dare to get him in trouble.
I think you’re ignoring a pretty important word in that quote. If I say “I am from Oklahoma,” I’m not saying I’m the entire state...
Can’t wait!
I haven’t been on sets for twenty years now, but I can assuredly tell you that the talent snapping at an assistant isn’t going to halt production. Oh, and there is no HR to run to. A film production isn’t an office.
What point is it you think you’re making? Name one production shut down over being rude to a PA. Ever. I’ll wait.
Based on his history, being an unreasonable dick sounds likely.
It does not seem extremely likely to me they shut down production of a multi million dollar movie over him snapping at a production assistant.
You shouldn’t doubt it, for it is the truth.
Man, I hope the Rock isn’t playing the dad. I cannot think of anyone more wrong for the doofy, hapless dad then the Rock, who’s ego is so strong, he created an entire show about himself being perfect from age six and beyond
Your schtick is more annoying than the typos
This is so. That abused and abusers both need help is not a contradiction. But non-extreme-binary logic is not our strong suit these days.
I love people who are like, “They’re hurting other people, fuck them, they don’t deserve help and compassion!” Um, maybe we should help them because they’re hurting other people. Maybe in helping the troubled person we help all of us.
Speak for yourself. I’m happy ignoring both of them. You should try it.
