Man at least whales at IRL casinos get free booze, escorts and deluxe suites thrown their way. What do these mobile gaming whales get for the privilege of having their psychological weaknesses exploited mercilessly by the developers? This shit is predatory, pure and simple.

Wow there are 7 (Seven!) in-line ads in this review, AND an autoplaying video ad after I click Publish. Yeesh. I guess as long as it keeps the Jalopnik crew paid and insured I’m OK with it, but seems like a bit much.

I’m glad people are figuring out all these cool glitches and tricks. But honestly I find no-major glitches runs much more enjoyable to watch because I want to focus on the speedrunner’s knowledge of the game and their technical skills.

Have people already forgotten how terrible yellow cabs were / are and how frequently they would fail to show up, refuse to take you where you wanted to go, refused to take a credit card even though they were legally required to do so, often were not the same driver as the one on the license / medallion, etc.?

I would normally agree with you, and Sherman probably shouldn’t have said all the cliche things about “disrespecting the game”. But, honestly Mayfield does seem like an entitled, disrespectful dip.

The Jeep Compass’ interior is hands-down the worst I’ve experienced recently. Even the top trim Trailhawk interior is all over the place in terms of the materials, the ergonomics are shit (seriously the center stack points AWAY from the driver, and every time I shifted I accidentally hit something on the temp controls)…

It’s like they’re desperate to make the Colorado seem “tactical” and “rugged” like the Special Forces HiLuxes, but Chevy’s idea of tactical and off-road rugged comes from video game concept art.
