My sister and I are similar. I'm a lawyer that makes $40,000 less than the median salary for a private practice attorney in my city. My sister does not have a bachelors but she makes significantly more than I do because she worked her way up at her summer college job. Am I slightly bitter? Yes, but still happy for her.
