It's only the word of God if it benefits me and validates my fears and prejudices!

Right, I agree there are perfectly normal, rational, acceptable religious people. But the ones I'm talking about only use that which suits their prejudices and confirms their worldview. It's like a selective, convenient reading of the Bible or something.
"Great/awful" = perfect description...I love that weaselly little laugh/dance he does when he thinks he's been made head of accounts in season 3.
Tough to have a rational argument with people who unequivocally think they have an angry old white guy in the sky on their side :/
The ones in charge don't care about the slippery slope; many of the rank and file voters don't understand basic logic, or also don't give a shit.
Armchair attorneys all OVER the internetz. My favorite is "people be callin me out for my offensive comments and violating my right to free speech." /another exasperated lawyer
Yeahhh. Acquitted and innocent - not the same thing, "in a court of law" there, Perry Mason.
I have to say I enjoyed the other Marc Summers vehicle, "What Would You Do?"
No, but does that mean it's not valid for those who want to go that route? Do you need to join any club or organization to do volunteer work? No, but that's a way to meet people and participate in common interests. To each their own. Never joined one myself, it's not for me, but I had a lot of girlfriends in college…
Lame. I think the sexiest thing about heels is that they elongate the leg. What's really gross is watching people limp around because they bit off more than they could chew in their footwear selection. And I've seen a lot of gross stilettos.
My boyfriend is Cookie because the similarity of his voice to the Cookie Monster's voice is directly correlated with his BAC. :)
Lol, the little bugger DOES have room for improvement, but overall he makes me proud. I was disappointed when he registered as a Republican, as was our mother: Mom- "Well, fine, as long as you still respect a woman's right to choose..." Brother- "I KNOW, Mom." :)
I definitely agree with those points. I would add that regardless of two incomes, it sounds like child care is ridiculously expensive and even with two working parents, there still might not be enough help at home. I think about when I was little - my father is a train engineer so he was gone about 50% of the time and…
I don't see "special privileges" for parents as inequality...I see it as leveling the playing field for people with extra challenges in their lives. The fact of the matter is in this economy, unless you are rather wealthy, both partners in a couple probably have to work. Yes, having kids is a choice, but we don't…
Beyond love this kid. I do so enjoy when the male jock types use their societal currency for good. My little brother was like this in high school - he was one of the cool guys for sure, but was extremely friendly and inclusive of special needs students. This was partly because my younger sister was a special needs…
1. Jennifer Aniston. Beautiful, classic red. Simple, elegant, perfect cut. 2. Halle Berry. Loved the shape and the pattern. 3. Jennifer Lawrence, because Dior Haute Couture makes me moist. 4. Charlize Theron 5. Jennifer Hudson 6. Octavia Spencer 7. I have a weird thing for Jane Fonda's dress.
He is an embarrassment to UNL. (-A UNL law alum and Lincoln, NE native)
God, when I read that article my head almost exploded. I was NOT surprised to read this newer, possibly even more ignorant article.
His articles on other topics are JUST as insufferable. Glad this kid is getting a national backlash for being an ignorant turd.
Lol. Logical consistency and the GOP are like oil and water.
