That sounds like a good truck. Though I would like mine with A/C. It gets really hot where I am at and 2/40 AC isnt very good when the air is also 95 degrees.

It’s the type of decision that screams “I have never been to Oklahoma.”
Sounds like something a hillbilly serial killer would say.
Not sure why he thinks Oklahoma will be a great improvement.
“Mannequin” Right... nice euphemism. I bet certain parts are very washable.
That SS Dolphin looked alright until you put a photo with a real human being in there for scale, then instantly it turns into the Youbian Puma.
tbf, hes not entirely wrong. I live in the MAGA sticks.. Not hte most welcoming ppl out here if you arent driving a 4x4 and look traditionally masculine and arent white.
As someone who grew up in OK (farm kid from the flat/brown/ugly part) here’s my karmic contribution:
Whilst traveling through OK, make it a point to hit a Braum’s. Their burgers, etc are only fair but their ice cream is worth driving for. I’m currently banished to the barren hellscape of S. Texas but have been known to…
Yup. Jumped at the chance to buy a 2010 Camry 4 cyl from a family friend for $800. Needed a transmission and some suspension work because it has 250K on it but everything else worked. Put probably $3000 into it but it’ll definitely get me by and if the engine dies tomorrow, I’ll probably replace it too given the…
Well, not any car. I’m pretty sure David Tracy’s “unidentified car in a river bank” from yesterday probably can’t be brought back up to spec.
Did you get the axle recall done? Being a northern car I’d expect you might have the “rusty axles snap” issue. Not a good one to have if you’re in the middle of nowhere.
IDK
We grew up poor and most of my family is still poor. Nearly every car we had growing up and much of what my poorer family members still have is/was a “hold-me-over” car. Getting exactly what you want is a rich man’s game.
“This is all according to plan.”
Rollie Free set the then current record on a Vincent with a Speedo, swim cap and shoes.
The point isn’t how much range I need, how many chargers there are or how long I will be at one. The issue is that range isn’t a luxury for ICE powered vehicles. Treating range as a luxury is shifting the burden from manufacturers to consumers. It’s great for the manufacture because then it’s just that darn consumer…
I take umbrage to the comparison of range and horsepower as it relates to luxury costs. Yes, more range is expensive like more horsepower is but consumers aren’t going to see that way, nor should they.
