Tangentially related question, Tom - how do people seem to like the Sync 4 system in the Mach E?  I’m really interested in a Lightning and it seems to use the same system; is it... ghastly?

Fair points, though I think the cockroach-like longevity of the Prius at a pretty low price-point suggests that cost and complexity won’t be huge issues. As for weight, well... if we could just beat some of the ugly off that fucking thing it’d damn near FLOAT.
