Well, until you evict the family and throw on a set of 29x10.5 drag radials...

Buttonwillow has so many configurations that a lap time, standing alone, is meaningless.

Fabulous - thanks!

I’d love to know how they got it registered in California; smog seems like it would be a real bear.

I know nothing about Wranglers, so... what are the major differences?  Gearing and suspension height/rate, I assume... what else?

The 1985 Chevrolet Impala 9C1 from ‘To Live And Die In LA’ did it for me. One of the best chase-scenes ever filmed with what was, at that time, a very obtainable car with genuine and inexpensive performance potential.

I wish I had the skill and money to do an EV swap on my Nissan Hardbody...

Subaru Justy - 1200cc of triple-cylinder fury making a rootin’-tootin’ 67 hp!

It’s a for-profit business; I feel perfectly safe assuming that they were cheating.

The idea of spending $50,000 or more on a car is utterly antithetical to me unless it is a ‘forever car’ with which I am utterly and foolishly in love. Signs saying things like, say, “THIS IS NOT ENGLAND SO PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD?”

These are the same people who got so confused in the Eastern Kentucky Roundabout Affair.

Ms. Streeter, for reals... WE NEED TO KNOW ALL ABOUT THE ARTICULATED CITY BUS THAT HAS BECOME AN RV AND GOES OFF-ROADING!

“Stay to the right” ain’t exactly differential calc.

Did you immediately cross over into the oncoming traffic lane, or did you figure it out? It’s novel, but it’s not complicated.
