I used to play a lot of Pathfinder. We had one campaign that went on for a few years. I ended up finding it too nit picky in the rules.

Oh shiiiiiiit! I’m still waiting on my Drifters to come in, but I see they have a whole keyboard and keycap set for this. The wife is a Scrabble fanatic; I wonder if she’d be interested. You know, for science.
I really hate how we’ve been moving to games as service, but they still get abandoned for sequels.
My boss is all over this game. It is literally the only game he plays. It seems perfect for him, as he can only find the time to play it once a week for an hour or two.
Non-player here. This was a pretty interesting episode. You guys have made Destiny sound really interesting. Unfortunately you’ve also made Destiny 2 sound even more disappointing. It seems by the time it becomes worth playing, they’ll just abandon it for Destiny 3.
I do only PC gaming now and most of my gaming takes place at the computer desk. Sometimes I use m/kb, sometimes a dual shock. It mostly depends on the game. A third person game like Warframe doesn’t feel right if I’m not using a controller.
Yeah. It only takes a few seconds to boot.
This was a good read. Reminds me of all of the times I’ve fixed my mum-in-law’s computer. She’s always going to those shady TV watching sites and opening every piece of trash email that gets sent to her.
So, does a game suck as default if the best part is not playing it?
It’s the same ridiculous shit every time. They keep creeping more features until it becomes completely unsustainable.
Great episode guys, the curling notwithstanding. I just think winters are better spent sipping hot chocolate and playing Scrabble rather than sliding rocks across the ice.
This was one of the specific games I got the SNES Classic for. I’m typically distrustful of remakes. That Wonder Boy remake was the fucking bomb though.
That’s a fair point that raises a question that I don’t think is easily answered. I want to believe that a good service will always pull more money than an apology machine.
You’re right that no one is surprised it’s more profitable, but it’s pretty interesting to see some actual figures.
Great story. I’ve always wanted to do an all Bards adventuring band. It sounds really fun.
Well, they did win the Franchise Wars.
I know it’s not exactly what happened here, but I feel that when a developer gets purchased by a big publisher, they should just all quit and start a new company.
We don’t really expect October though, do we? I think November is likely, and December is possible.
Yeah, that’s what I thought at their original announcement. “Better add a year”.
