“Can I just pay, without the hassle of winning?”

I’m sorry a PC owner stole your boy and/or girl. That must have been really painful. Luckily you have your console to cuddle at night.

That’s all well and good for the try-hard 5.1 K/d ratio Sweaty player who doesn’t want to struggle against players of equal skill. But to the average mid to low-tier player, *every* match is a sweaty match. They don’t get a choice.

Obviously at least some others feel differently, but matchmaking that skews to either of those scenarios is going to make me put a game down. Getting stomped into the ground is obviously no fun and quite frankly I think doing the stomping is super boring.

Will they sell more copies and more DLC if the “team of dookies” quit because they get matched against a superior opponent they have no chance against? Seems like they are trapped in a no-win situation: cater to the experienced pro who just wants to dominate, or cater to the dominated who would like a fair skill-based

Don’t steam reviews at least qualify your feedback a bit by your hours on record?  So you can at least get some gauge about how much someone evaluated a product before reviewing.

no, it’s on game pass, which you have to pay for.

This is absolutely the correct response. While the dice rolls mean that a particular avenue fails, it doesn’t resolve the option entirely.

this game is ruined by the outdated hardware of the Switch

This is sort of shitty to reduce Hotz to that. Hotz is an extremely talented programmer and is, actually, the real deal that Elon claims to be but isn’t (claimed he programmed PayPal, claims to do all sorts of code for Tesla and SpaceX but doesn’t really, etc.).

Ha, you must love the smell of your own farts. Christ, the self-entitlement of this dumb take smells from here.

but unless you know to look for it or why it’s relevant it isn’t immediately obvious

fans discovered that he’d cheated, with the evidence clearly visible in the video he’d recorded

Unless this is your first MMO and you’ve never been on the internet before, you shouldn’t be review bombing a game because the servers are backed up. This happens every single MMO launch.

Seriously, I’ve spent too many WoW expansions waiting for queue to be surprised by this. Review bombing the game is outright childish.

A problem that will be alleviated almost immediately and have absolutely no bearing on the game once it’s corrected.

And it’s immature to downvote a game when you haven’t played it.

So he didn’t cheat or otherwise do anything scummy, he just....reported a bunch of times at once. I’m not part of this community, so maybe there’s longtime clear unwritten rules about this, but this just sounds like sour grapes to me.

I’m convinced that all these people who hate the Mako so much are just too incompetent to drive it properly. There, I said it.

So literally no-one benefited from their aggressive exclusive acquisitions (except, I suppose, devs whose games might not have otherwise made as much).
