if they can edit the item to say ERROR they could edit the item to not be in your inventory

and ars technica published theirs 2 hours before IGN did https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2022/08/28-years-later-super-punch-outs-two-player-mode-has-been-discovered/

2 things that every company seems to think players love seeing that almost none actually do: filtered pixel art, and motion blur

hey thats me! I have every main CoD up to Cold War. Mainly for the single player. Even though I still got that multiplayer-only black ops game for some reason. Vanguard was the first one I’ve managed to skip entirely

good thing the next DLC for my game is named “Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam” then

Jason Schreier strikes again.

you can in doom eternal

lol what is this, do you work for epic or something

so it’s a “there’s nothing in the rules that says a dog can’t play basketball” situation

a compulsory license is a license you can get for performing covers. the “compulsory” part means anyone can get a license without requiring permission from the copyright holder, with the fee amount set by the governemnt copyright department.

Diablo Immortal has a “pity pull” system, designed to eventually hand out quality items to those unlucky enough to have spent loads of money but not got one, even this has extremely low odds, with the chances of getting a 5-star Legendary Gem at around 1%.

wait until you hit level 50 then the game surprises you with a completely separate 2nd battlepass that costs $20

oh and another disadvantage of MMO-style. having to wait for spawns because a quest wants you to kill 50 of a thing inside a small area, when nowhere near 50 of them even exist in that area, and there’s other people killing things inside the same area at the same time...

I enjoyed the intro missions. Then when they ended, the game turned into a MMO with random people wandering all around in my game. No thanks!

I’ve stopped worrying about a backlog. I play what is fun. If I start a new game and it doesn’t make me want to keep playing it, I drop it and move to the next one. It’s not like anyone cares that I have unplayed/unfinished games in my library

innovation: “what if subway, but cars instead?”

I have no choice but to pirate them

I was going to cancel my game pass ultimate and just go back to xbox live gold, until I saw that they basically doubled the price of gold after game pass game out. if I got rid of gold I might as well just sell my xbox, multiplayer is the main reason I use it. so it’s either $10 a month just to play multiplayer, or

and the very first thing in the patch notes is:

you should be. I have never played an online game on epic, so nobody should even know my username there, yet I get tons of friend requests from scammers on there. data is clearly leaking somewhere
