Nip/Tuck is the show I despise most (not the WORST show, by any stretch, but the most despicable).

The title of the article should have been, "Scream Queens is another Ryan Murphy series, with all that ENTRAILS."
I liked it well enough when I first watched the ep, but I tried to rewatch it earlier, and only made it through five minutes. I agree with you.
In the family-friendly Simpsons Movie, we get to see Bart's unpixelated penis, but Jerry's junk is blurred on late-night TV. Oh well, at least we got a glimpse of some hardcore intergalactic porn on the desktop.
"Rixty Minutes" worked so well because of how well integrated the two plots (improvised TV stuff and scripted domestic drama) were. In this one, the two plots weren't at all related, and the entire episode had a haphazard, trite feel. "Rixty Minutes" was full of joyful inventiveness, while this ep felt rote and…
Good points! Oh well, at least we will always have "Total Rickall," a stone-cold classic that, to my mind, at least, is flawless in every way.
"I'm missing the high concept sci-fi more than I care to admit." Seconded!
"it did go back to his general dysfunction well which I think we've kinda aimed at a few too many times this season already." Totally agree with this criticism, and with all your other points too. Not sure why season 2 has been disappointing. Because it (quite predictably) lacks the wonderful freshness and…
Just as long as you don't want to move closer to Orlando Bloom to be closer to Pirates of the Caribbean. That would be unconscionable.
This season has been hit-and-miss thus far. I want more episodes by the writer of "Total Rickall," and of that calibre. This episode was amusing, but ultimately I don't think that revisiting the interdimensional TV portal paid off. The Jerry penis plot was okay, but didn't really go anywhere. Rick and Morty is still…
I liked Jan Michael Vincent, but it felt too obviously derivative of Two Brothers (or whatever the full title was). Still made me laugh, though.
Agree that this episode wasn't entirely successful. But "the worst episode of the show"? I thought we all agreed that that (dis)honor goes to "Get Schwifty."
"After twenty minutes of increasingly bullshit improve…" That should read IMPROV.
It is a stupid lie in the sense that it could be exposed. But it's also an intelligent lie in the sense that it got him what he wanted: sympathy, support, acting jobs, a degree of fame. (It also helped that the subject matter was such that few would have the temerity to question it.) Worse yet, he kept the lie alive.…
It had nothing to do with sympathy and everything to do with career advancement. Simply put, the guy used a national tragedy to get acting jobs.
In a recent episode of "Rick and Morty," the titular characters journeyed to a planet that had "eleven nine-elevens." Rannazzisi should move to that planet - a greater likelihood that he will get to survive a 9/11 and be able to cover his own ass.
According to commenters on Deadline Hollywood, him "surviving" 9/11 endeared him to actors like Ashton Kutcher and Kevin James, who gave him roles in their projects. So, yeah, it helped him a huge amount.
Thank you for saying this! I agree. If I read one more commenter say that Rannazzisi "seems sincere" in his apology, I will scream. The guy lied, benefited from the lie, kept lying, kept benefiting from the lie, didn't feel an iota of guilt (otherwise why would he consistently bring the fictional event up in…
It does give me some pleasure to know that this Rannazzisi thing might remind the public about the sins of Brian Williams, at the very moment that Williams is hoping everyone is ready to move on.
I share your outrage. This is really appalling (and that some people here can't see that is terrible, too). What Rannazzisi did is beyond the pale. And his "apology" (crafted to appear heartfelt) doesn't cut it. If his lie bothered him so much, why only fess up after you've been busted? This guy needs to go away.
