F-22 is air superiority and the F-35 is multirole so yes they are not equivalents. That doesn’t mean the airforce didn’t justify killing the one in order to justify the former. F-35 is not as great a fighter, but it is still a fighter and when it was billed as cheaper and thus we can buy more for our money it was used

At the time the Air Force used the notion that the F-22 was too expensive per plane. That by killing production they would be able to buy cheaper F-35's to offset the low numbers of F-22's. It didn’t work out that way. As for your argument its bunk. It would have made sense if they never put the F-22 in production

Disagree. F-22 production was cut in favor of the cheaper F-35. Did not go as planned to say the least.

You are right, part of the soviet’s fall was our military spending. That same spending is currently part of our own failing. The greatest generation *cough* bs *cough* and the boomers have continually spent our country into the ground. At this point, why?

I skipped the Frontier altogether because of its age. Gas mileage especially was bad. As for having a manual I wish the colorado did with any real options. I test drove the tacoma, but you didnt get much off, didn’t get much in the way of options, less power, and the mpg was worse. If an automaker would figure out

French resistance had women in it which is why people didn’t complain. It made sense historically and thematically.

Realism has nothing to do with historical authenticity. Games take liberties all the time. WW1 body armor did not make you a walking tank like it does in BF1. It did exist at the time though and from an immersion perspective doesn’t draw someone out of the experience. If they gave users WW2 weapons it would. So, for

Starting to feel like Kotaku just wants to rewrite history for better clickbait. I could care less about women in games because I could care less about gender in games. I do care about historical accuracy. Battlefield Heros was more cartoony and really anything goes. Battlefield 1-4 at least on the surface level tried

Agreed, however had she been jaywalking there would be some level (relatively minor) of responsibility on her. Given that they say she was legally crossing the street there is zero.

This argument is invalid. Long live the Venturi Atlantique!

Just because it makes more on paper does not make it better. What matters is where it makes the torque at. The upside to a big v8 is that it will make the torque down low. If you have to rev the snot out of the 4 cylinder to make enough torque to move it then real world mpg will be less.

Never put anything in the truck. Never road with someone. It averaged less than 18 when i brought it home. 200+ highway miles with cruise control on at 70 mph. Granted, the radio never worked correctly and the damn thing shook at idle so I got rid of it at 653 miles. I tend to drive slow in trucks so I am gonna stick

If the 4 cylinder in the colorado is anything to go by, it will get worse mpg than the six. When I had my i4 I struggled to get 18. Now with the v6 I average 20.5 easy.

Mixed on this. My first colorado was nothing but issues 17 I4 z71 extended cab. Traded it in after 653 miles. Second 18 V6 Z71 Extended has been great so far.

My Colorado was built in Missouri. Explains why the first one was such a pos that I traded in at 653 miles. (For the record I live in MO too.)

My Colorado Z71, aka 4x4, v6 with 8 speed auto is averaging over 20 without me trying. They can and do hit their mpg figures these days which surprised me.

Some of us who had the misfortune of buying one of those compact cars are happy to see them go. My gf’s powershift transmission is garbage and their handling of their screw up does not make me want to buy another one.

Some of us use our trucks as trucks. Right now I have two as I still need to sell my beater ranger after replacing my miata with a truck. Once that goes the new truck will take on hauling duties. Last weekend it was mulch and trees for the front yard. This week it will be hauling cut up 2x4's as I remove more framing

Depends on what you do. I have a truck, but let’s take my parents. They have had 4 door sedans since my sister was born in the early 80's. They restored houses. They bought furniture. Everything got strapped to the top of those poor poor cars. Now they are in their 60's and too old to pull that crap anymore, but they

And that is poor design. Period. First five minutes of learning to drive stick you are taught not to ride the clutch.
