I was actually a little disappointed Bronn did not die..it seemed a logical place for his character to bow out, plus the him losing his gold thing seemed to be symbolic right before he died. The battle was incredible though.

yeah, maybe he is in something else and is not available? His screen time has been noticeably short for a main character.

This is not a "good" show, and even people like us who watch it admit it. I am watching just to see how it turns out. At its best, its campy fun. But at its worst is episodes like this..just pointless and dumb in a bad way

This show is best when it is campy fun. This episode was just stupid and boring in the Walking Dead midseason way. Dutch and Gus' stories were just pointless and dumb. I am completely at a loss on how Gus and his gang raiding some former police loot advanced the story at all or had anything to do with..well,

I think it was sworn loyalty as a ward..he gave his word and his family did when they lost to Ned and Robert. Plus, even if there was no "loyalty" he still seized Winterfell and betrayed his brother..he paid for it, but he would still be someone Jon despised and would kill

yeah, I agree with the Dothraki..I thought raiding and pillaging was the entire reason they agreed to go with Dany..if not, what is in it for them really? IS she really just going to say "thanks!" when she wins and send them home?

A person we never saw on the show ever? Unlikely

Everyone is assuming Dany and Jon will learn of Jon's true linage..but I am not sold on it ever coming out. Only Bran could tell them, and he seems too much in his own world to bother. Plus, Bran has no connection at all to Dany, so only Jon could tell her..and again, the motivation for him to do so is unclear. I

lol good point.. I think Cersei repaying them was more to cement the good relations with the Iron Bank

Meera has been a nothing character on this show. She did nothing but carry Bran around and really had no story whatsoever. Her leaving had no impact for me at all.

I am beginning to think it will be Jon Snow on the Iron Throne in the end and not Dany. She is showing an inflexible streak that has brought down every other big character that died. Her demanding Jon kneel before she conquered anything is a bad omen for where this is going. Why care over something so small? I

Weakest episode so far this season. Gus' story made no sense all. It seemed like filler. Yes, they got some good guns..but taking on some old police over a stupid score and as revenge for some extra? Seemed like padding and giving them something to do. This is the last season..we should be focusing on the end

That argument is a fallacy, sorry. It might not be Valerian's "fault" this came out 40 years after Star Wars..but on the big screen, we saw it all before. Its like saying everyone should love "John Cater" because it was written in 1900 and was one of the first great sci-fi stories, so everything is a rip-off of

I think they lampshaded how ridiculous it is with Eichorn saying, "that kid! why him". The writer's know its a crappy character (and really, there is no explanation at all that makes any sense why the master keeps him alive and protected..he could literally have any other future host and he is not even some hostage

I just think at this point, they know they are stuck with Zach and are just trying to make it to the end. The character is just crap but the entire plot of the books was bundled up in him, so they would have had start at square one with the TV version to eliminate Zach. In season 1, they probably had no idea that

its because of the rise of being able to watch movies like this in your own home. Going to a movie theater and watching a sex scene with a bunch of strangers is a barrier and that is why you do not see too many "sex thrillers" anymore that actually make it onscreen

I see this movie under-performed badly at the box office. This material is always going to be a tough sell to general audiences. It will probably do better on video and on demand. There is a "perv barrier" to going to see a movie like this with a lesbian sex scene in it, where people feel weird watching it in a

to be fair, most critics gave the Phantom Menace high marks at the time. It only became shorthand for awful several years later. The special effects were state of the art at the time and only upon reflection did everyone notice the plot and acting were horrendous.

I do not mind the temporal anomalies as this has been present all along in the books and the show. This is a story first. One of the things that stymied Martin after book three was how was all this stuff happening while the white walkers and their army was milling about north of the wall. Did it take them four years

lol, true..but I think they said they have not been back in thousands of years
