My fixes for season 3:
My fixes for season 3:
Agree they made Supergirl basically just the female version of good guy Superman on this show so there is zero conflict between them at all. They might as well be twins rather than cousins. Not making them different at least philosophically is a big wasted opportunity
Spot on, I was going to write similar but you nailed my thoughts. The only really essential characters are Kara, Alex and probably Winn (these shows need a tech genius/cool stuff inventor). J'onn is probably untouchable because a CW show would probably kill itself rather than get rid of its diversity, but his…
yeah, they really brushed over that..can you imagine what a scandal that would be..instead its, "oh, forget about it because she is a good shape shifter!" That whole plot was senseless and basically was just an excuse to give Carter a cameo in this show with some hook.
I agree with you about Mon El. They did have him fight some soldiers so he used his powers for like only the second time all season, but he did go out on a whimper. That was his mother after all and having his GF do all the heavy lifting did not make sense storywise
This episode was better than last week, which the reviewer strangely loved. (or not so strangely since it did its thing with its partisan politics that drove away 70% of its audience but the remaining core on here love, ratings and common sense be damned) It told an entire story that was emotionally complete. There…
I wonder if Kim.Jimmy are still sleeping together. They looked much more like a couple last season. They barely touch each other..I do not think I saw them kiss once this season and it seems very stiff in their scenes. I agree that she is just not cut out for the hard choices Jimmy will have to make. The problem…
you do not read my posts and just spout off, I said except Nazis because that was so beyond the pail. Regular soldiers following orders in wartime should never be prosecuted for following orders, even if in hindsight the actions were questionable or unnecessary. Regular people do not choose to be there and are…
fail. Them parodying everyone is what makes them so good and relevant. The last thing we need as a nation is an umpteenth far left show
because you will be shot
I do not think its disturbing at all..no one following orders in war should be prosecuted for war crimes. You cannot refuse the order, so you have no culpability.
wow..dude you are pretty harsh. War criminals are people who choose to do bad crap. If anything, I am on the complete other side of you. "War crimes" is a BS term usually just to punish the loser of a war or the poor soldiers who followed orders. Anyone following orders is not a war criminal, so I agree with you…
Wow, what a gut punch. I got the parallels between the old woman and the Jennings as well. What the Soviets deemed a "monster" was a scared girl whose whole family was killed by the Nazis and they made her kill Soviets for sick fun. She was not a war criminal, but a victim, but the centre wanted her dead. The…
wow, this review really buys what they are selling. I give a plus for Cat Grant coming back, but this was a "D". Just cheesy in a bad way(what is up with the Daxon warriors having helmets and chest armor..and khaki's?)..Carter's president is just soo ridiculous its power ranger territory..so the president being a…
They should do a "Wayne's World" and have two guys walking back and forth with a plane of glass every time the guardian is on screen
Them turning this show into a new green lantern core would not be a good idea.
That's pretty unfair. People who take jobs relating to teens and youths are by their nature more caring and attentive to them then regular people. That does not make it sexual
I just disagree..this is not an issue of "all parents lie" and she is growing up.. The lie is HUGE. Her parents are enemies of her country and can be caught at any time. Her history and even name are lies. That is not normal lying.
Tim did not tell her that..that was his own private assessment that she snooped into. He actually goes out of the way to be nice and open and encouraging..which is exactly what someone good at being a pastor (or a child psychologist for that matter) would do.
Yes, also, I kind of took the marriage ceremony..while touching, to be the last nice thing before it all goes south for them..like in the final Matrix when the ship goes through the clouds and they see the sun before they plunge again into darkness. There was a lot of tropes being rung there..the "the main couple…
