I would really, honestly like to know why Clay and his editor thought it was OK to publish this without even nodding toward Sterling's history of real-life, damaging racism and the housing discrimination lawsuit. I thought that tossing all that aside with a "He's racist and has been for a long time. That sucks," was

Clearly you don't have the mental capacity to see the resulting problems that might ensue from people's names being put up all over creation.

People's names could end up on the Internet, though. Not a big leap from "saw it in the bathroom" to "posted it in my blog." And if an innocent person's name turns up on a list of rapists when a potential employer Googles him, that is a problem. I agree that it is not as big a problem as being raped and having a

If no one will believe it anyway then what is the point? Either we agree that some people will believe it (which is the goal of the person writing down the name) and innocent people will probably get accused or we agree that no one will believe it so no one is falsely (or justly) harmed by it. You can't really go both

I am most definitely feminist but this is ripe for false allegations. It takes two impulsive seconds for someone to write a name down out of malice. Because there's no consequence for lying if it's anonymous. I get the frustration but this will make things worse for survivors and could seriously damage innocent

While I can totally sympathize with the frustration and disappointment that could lead to this, writing a "rapist list" in the bathroom is just not the way to go about things. You might start it with good intentions but it will only go downhill and good people's names will be smeared.

While "pasta in excess" might be a sign of a violation at OU, Shasta in excess is a sign that you're in a grocery store in a shitty part of town.

Between this and his comments that he was just trying to sleep with V. Stiviano, women not going down without a fight seems to be a common problem for Mr. Sterling.

In 2003, a court order noted Sterling was accused of "regularly [posing] as a government official in order to gain access to tenants' apartments."

He's the worse.

Genuinely confused by all the people assuming the person being kicked and punched is in the wrong here.

Ummmm. The Jezebel commentary on this video is just plain wrong. I honestly cannot even believe I just read this on here. Physical violence is NOT okay for anyone—not for men OR women. If it were Jay Z perpetrating a physical attack on Solange or Beyonce, you would be calling for the end of his career. A woman beater!

Oh, you have to come in here with your FRA bullshit changing this article to ignore the reality of abuse! You know what, female rights activists are bullshit with their hurt feefees, oh you can't just accept the idea that abuse against men from sisters-in-law is a socially OK thing?!

Kate, why is your first response to a woman assaulting a man that the man MUST have done something to deserve it? Way to victim blame.

Wait a second, Jay-z does nothing and the very first thing you throw out there is he is cheating on her sister or has wronged someone.

Not ALL women fight tho, pls clear that up

This is the greatest aftermarket invention of the 21st century:

Save me chaka khan!
