Doctors may not be compensated for the birth or postpartum care if they aren’t present/catching, so this doctor would likely have been mad if they delivered without him. Yeah, that’s my question too. Hospitals settle most OB and NICU cases that ARE bullshit, so taking a real case that they are definitely going to lose to court seems insane.
