BIGTUNA AT IT AGAIN. When will you sheeples learn. You're all blind. All those supposed drs R getting kickbacks. I won't let my unborn child be exposed to toxins. Look up this doctor who totally founded the CDC 30 years ago and says tuna causes every single childhood cancer.
Seconded. New Orleans cockroaches have more personality and disdain for humans than most cats.
Yeah, nothing like having the contents of your uterus announced to all your male rural Texan colleagues. That'll give you some extra anxiety at staff meetings.
Seriously, anxiety and panic disorder are medically manageable conditions. As is, incidentally, an IUD inserting into your uterine wall. And neither are grounds for someone prying into your medical records and putting you on forced leave. Maybe a supervisor telling you there are resources out there your health…
Seriously. I guess living in New Orleans is a little different, but fat old men should be able to wear bondage gear too! Equal opportunity!
The vaccination rate really depends on the vaccine, unfortunately. Only 68% of kids get the full series right now in the US.
That's Phaeohyphomycosis
Yeah, like on the one hand having a magazine call her out on mental illness wouldn't really help her much, and you'd hope if she's seeing any doctors they're addressing it with the right meds. But then...on the other hand, as I'm pondering it, I wonder if people are going to read this and be like, oh my god I also…
Yeah, it's the same. I think the compulsion to collect fibers is actually part of the diagnosis of the psychiatric syndrome now.
I love how the reporter tried to field that one sensitively. It's not even considered a real derm disease in medical circles, but rather a delusional parasitosis that people have nicknamed and then spread around on the internet. It's a mental disorder as best can be told, associated with skin problems from picking and…
It'd definitely be interesting to see where exactly the points were taken away from the girls if that's in the study. As has been pointed out, it's math, so I'd assume the kids who got 100s got them despite gender because they showed they could get all the right answers. But girls and boys in the lower ranges, who…
I graded for my mother sometimes when she taught physics/chemistry and unless you want to fail 50+% of your students you need to award points for attempting problems and methodology on math problems.
ETA: oops, double post
There's a great lady at an arts market here in NOLA who trims corsets with nutria fur for some local flair. Surprisingly cute.
Oh man. Lutefisk was big where I grew up. We actually had a cheer at my high school "Lutefisk, lutefisk! Lefsa, lefsa! We're the mighty vikings, yeah sure, ya betcha"
That's definitely where I see males used the most, in science/medicine and then pseudo-science (e.g. humans=wolves) that's attempting to parade as real science by co-opting clinical terminology.
Shark class I once took knowledge: Bruce from Nemo was missing his boy bits so as not to offend parents, so he's actually a lady shark as animated
I don't eat meat for environmental reasons (so I'm not speaking to the cultural significance of soy), but soy farming is also terrible and there are the hormonal implications of the pseudo-estrogens. This appeals to me for being high protein and potentially much more environmentally friendly.
I have really fond memories of making mealworm chocolate chip cookies with my mom as a kid. My poor, poor future offspring...
