In the Vatican city, as long as they're married, the age of consent for females is 14. 14 years old. That's an official church thing. Now THAT'S gross.

And the other way around ? Older women with younger men ? Are those women "gross" in the same way you think Gibson and Stewart are ?

Be careful what you wish for - that's an easy way for men to be unfairly victimised as well. And once the accusation is made, it NEVER goes away, even after a false assault accusation is retracted or overturned. Its a very tricky subject.

That said though, another significant point is the "stage in industrial development" which differs between many countries. i.e. That China is doing now (and on a larger scale) the same things that many other countries did in their past.
And…

Agreed, but just to be clear, its pretty much most countries in the world who ignore environmental issues, so its a message that IS relevant to the entire worlds people.
Perhaps especially the US ?
