It’s hilararious that you’re compairing a rock star’s wife’s behavior with the President ellect and finding the Drummer’s wife just a bit less civil, than someone who’s supposed to soon lead the free world, and it still doesn’t sink in the Trump is a trash person to you? Wierd!

I wonder how many children were watching the debate where Trump bragged about how big his dick is?

Ya boy said it on the news. U mad, snowflake?

Campaign metrics. Not election results. I’m talking ground game, money raised, money spent, ad buys, favorability differential, winning every debate, etc.

I hate everything.

And it amazes me how people like American Snitch-sized-penis thinks that their not going to reap the whirlwind. Trumperdink’s gonna rape the entire world given the chance; and in the end it’ll be liberals, and progressives the future will look to for any hope of a return to normality.

Hey I want everyone in the next administration dead; all of them. They are one of the most poisonous, evil collection of wasted genetic material in human history; and the world would be better without them.

And I’m in Ireland so he can screen cap me all he fucking wants; he has no power here, or anywhere else. He

I don’t want my state to spend millions on passing a new unconstitutional law to restrict abortion access every year. But they do it every year. And it gets overturned every year. Court costs are just the price of doing business in a constitutional democracy.

I know it won’t ultimately do any good, but I’ve written letters to the Michigan Secretary of State and to Bill Schutte letting them know that their behavior indicates they have something to hide and that I am going to make sure to let everyone that I know not to vote for any of these people involved in blocking it in

Could not have put it better. Thank you. We have been royally screwed because few people bother to become informed, and so fucking many are happy to swallow bullshit because they think it will somehow benefit them - as if they will ever be wealthy enough.

Keep in mind that this isn’t really a “recount,” it’s actually a “count.” This is how the votes would have been tallied had the state not chosen to cut budget corners by implementing voting machines. The whole condition of setting up voting machines was supposedly “don’t worry about it, we can always check the paper

Given that Gov. Snyder spent $3 million in taxpayer funds defending himself from Flint water crisis lawsuits, as a Michigan taxpayer I really don’t want to hear any whining from Republicans about how much it’s going to cost. A cost, by the way, which they have been grossly inflating, probably by including the costs of

It’s horrifying that these people are declaring openly that it would be undemocratic to actually count our votes. This is where it becomes apparent that democratic elections are a negotiable element of the right’s plans for our country.

One of the most insane things about this? Trump screamed about a rigged system, lost the popular vote by nearly 3M, and the right-wingers are saying “everything is fine, recounts are dumb.” If the situation was reversed, you bet your sweet ass they would be threatening armed rebellion if there wasn’t a recount going

I believe it is. The benefit is incalculable: restoring Americans’ faith that their votes are actually being counted properly. The cost pales in comparison to it.

You got that in one! The price is only going up now because the state does not want to perform the recount. They need to suck it up.

Don’t care.

Jill Stein has raised over 7.5 million dollars in private donations for the recounts. Most of the costs are coming out of that fund. It’s only “taxpayer money” in the sense that the people who voluntarily donated it are probably also taxpayers.

I thought this was exactly what she had raised the money for. The whole “it’s not like she is going to win if we recount” argument is a total sham.

I’m also curious. If the recount cost Michigan taxpayers millions of dollars, then where did the millions of dollars that the Stein campaign paid end up? I mean, didn’t they have to front the money so that the costs of the recount would be (at least substantially) covered?
