i’m maybe the most curious i’ve ever been about how a movie will end up being marketed.

I feel like the streaming platforms that still do weekly episode releases are the ones doing it right. Make each drop appointment television that people (and social media) will spend the next week talking about, creating anticipation for the next episode. The availability of previous eps is the obvious advantage over

One of the things I’ll have to explain to my daughter is the concept of missing a sitcom when it aired, trying to catch it in syndication, and realizing they’re still mid-season 2 in the cycle so it’ll be at least another month before they hit a patch of episodes I hadn’t seen yet.

I think it’s a mixture of big Broadway stage musicals and Disney. “Up There” is definitely a “Disney” song.

Just guessing here, but I’d imagine a few days of the CEO’s pay + bonuses would easily fund the band for a full year.

It's probably all that money they pay every time they let Wally talk.

I didn’t hate the ending as much as you did, but I agree 100% that it seemed disconnected and was disappointing. In fact, on the way home all I thought about was if there were alternates considered and what would have made it better. Perhaps if it turned out he had been wired in his final confrontation with his evil

Frankly, I would’ve thought being Rob Schneider would be enough to legally keep him from ever going within 500 ft of an audience again.

You think his anti-vax stance alone would be enough to keep a HEALTH CARE foundation from booking him. The filthy content is just lagniappe.

At least Avengers 5  should come after Fantastic 4.

Apparently, anything that has a woman or person of color lead is now “woke.”

So far I like this show, I just hope it can keep any Skywalkers and Palpatines off the screen until it is over.

Gripping start. Intrigue from start to finish. Casting department knocks it out the park, as does wardrobe.

So do they sell those Pip Droids at Home Depot? I could use a new multi-tool

A low bar, indeed! But I might give it a chance, if we ever have D+ active again.

No. It was not.

lol that scene RULED

And if the parents said, “No, you can’t take away our precious child,” the Jedi would even do some techno-magic thing to suppress the child’s connection to the Force.

Mr. Grandmom, coming in 2025

My take is Toy Story shouldn’t be number 1. It’s great but I feel like Pixar just got better from there. I think Toy Story 2 is better.
