Just get an 8 year old to smash some Kenner Star Wars action figures together for an hour and you’ll get the exact same writing as Jon Favreau’s writing in the Mandalorian.

American History X is arguably more important now than when it came out.

No way Tom is below Shiv. Yes, he’s being hung out to dry in the media, but Shiv is on the verge of losing literally everything. One of them may end up having the receipts to go public, but I’d see Tom as being better about that. Shiv isn’t as used to having to CYA, Tom is.

I once met Mitch McConnell and he was super nice and gracious when we went to deliver a letter condemning his vote on a bill. Later I met a Democratic politician who I truly believe is moral and ethical person and I would vote for them and campaign for them if they ever ran for president but I just couldn’t stand

Thanks for taking the precious time out of your day to stop by and contribute that bit of wisdom.

Thats SUCH fucking arrogance. She thinks shes better than Greg, that hes dumber and weaker than her, and that he wont push back. It wouldve cost her very little to offer him something that would make him happy and keep his mouth shut. Even for her that seemed like over the top bullying, but she was probably feeling

I know, it’s not as if US policy has any impacts outside its borders.

In my mind, Roman was always an evil little shit, starting from the pilot. The show did a good job of humanizing him, but an evil piece of shit human is still an evil piece of shit.

What Greg is very good at, and this is a skill that can make you extremely successful in the corporate space, is never doing anything or being nailed to a position on anything. We’ve all known people like that and they float to the top, because while people don’t like them, their amorality can be useful. And since

Does Roman even have an ideology? People in power like the Roys will always have the influence to get what they want, no matter how policies and politics impact the rest of us. Sort of like how Republicans putting anti-choice regulations in place will always have the means to find abortions for their daughters and

Has MAX greenlit Succession II: Rise of the Conheads yet?

I work at a law school. Some of the nicest students are in the Federalist Society. It really hits home the difference between niceness and kindness. And how endearing or charming people who are capable of eliciting sympathy are really the most dangerous people you can know because usually the sympathy isn’t unearned

I mean, I think it’s kind of the opposite. Empathy hasn’t made Kendall actually do anything meaningful for his daughter. It’s essentially more self-pitying narcissistic garbage from him. “Oh sweetie. It was so hard selling you and everyone like you down the river. It hurts me so much.”

It’s really amazing how they started the season with him as the most sympathetic character and within two eps turned him into the villain of the entire series. Logan was like a tiger- he just did what tigers do. Roman is now just willfully malicious. And on any other show, it wouldn’t seem like an earned character

While I was watching the episode, I kept thinking of all the people last week talking here in the comments about how much they had come to love Roman. It hurt to see him go so dark.

They managed to turn Roman from one of my favorite characters to my most hated. This isn’t a dig on the show. I’m just unhappy I fell for the trap of them humanizing him.

Kendall was right about people being crap at making deals. Shiv suffers the biggest loss in the show to date, as does the nation, due to not making even an offer to Greg.

Miss what point?

That’s his point. There’s no way the finished product will be the exact same as the finished script in which case some “writing” would be happening on the set, resulting in Tony Gilroy having not stuck with the strike and the union.
