Not that impossible when you remember dems have won the popular vote 6 of the last 7 elections. And the one that bush won probably doesn’t happen if gore was the incumbent in that election. Stupid electoral college.

They’d better be. Their survival would be a degree of plot armor that I’m not sure even this show could withstand.
Dragon fire melts stone beams!
There could be no better metaphor for this season than a massive, bloody shit storm that leaves everyone stunned and miserable.
It was such a wonderful palate cleanser after that *other* episode I watched tonight.
A very The Shield-like ending. I dug it, even though my head was spinning with the rapid-fire twists and turns.
Are we sure the throne still exists?!
Yeah, they will, because they swerved away from it for plot reasons, not as part of some character arc. They wanted Cersei and Jaime to die together, so they rushed together some lazy writing for why their magical assassin can’t be the one to kill her. Now that’s out of the way, they’ll lazily write her back into…
Yeah, and as others have said above, the motivation for gratuitous mass murder being “my nephew won’t fuck me!” really rings hollow. I don’t buy it.
The unsullied would have a severe problem with 50% of those activities
The Unsullied don't have dicks
Okay, see, what I thought they were building to with Dany was “Her desire to retake the throne ultimately overshadows her noble ideals and brings out her tyrannical side.”
I have no idea what this comment means, but if I think the last two seasons have kind of sucked because of the writing and plotting, does that mean I’m a tyrant-loving normie?
So was Jaime’s whole character arc a Möbius strip then? What was the point of any of that?
So many of you are upset about the way Jamie and Cersei died together. But I’ve got good news-
Ok, screenwriting class....what do we do when we don’t want to write a lot of annoying dialogue? We film a lot of slooooooooo motionnnnnnnnn.
Yeah, Dude, she was like a Brett Easton Ellis character. “There is a dragon systematically dismantling my keep, murdering my Citizen-hostages, and killing my soldiers, and I can’t be bothered to give a fuck. There is a sign over my privy that reads: This too shall pass, and I cannot tell if I am laughing or crying as…
That main gate must have contained some of the Reach’s magical exploding barley (like in the wagons in S7). Dragons are powerful, but I thought sure it would need at least 2 passes to torch it to smithereens. Even Harrenhal still has plenty of walls.
Utterly facile, meaningless nonsense. I wish I’d gone with my initial plan to give up after the third episode.
Cersei! Cersei! Hey! How’s your strategy of standing aloofly while sneering at the sky paying off? I feel like there’s a move forthcoming, am I riiiiiight?
