I thought Ray slept with the slime? Is that why Ray was mad at Egon? Because Egon stole custody of his slime baby?

Still can’t figure out exactly when in the timeline Egon was supposed to have a kid. And abandoning your family is still inexcusable, no matter how many ghosts you’re fighting or newspaper clippings you saved.

Just because it has a new threat doesn’t meant it still isn’t going to be a complete nostalgia wank.  They always are.

It’ll be a refreshing change of pace!

Peck survived, but there’s no way that at least a few New Yorkers didn’t get crushed under the Stay Puft’s massive, gooey feet. 

Remember when Ghostbusters used to be funny?  Granted, it was almost 40 years ago, but those were good times.

I had the same reaction when someone tried to explain it to me the first time.

The budget of a typical 1 hour prime time drama is about $5M so it’s not all that surprising. But given how slight and silly and forgettable the show was, it does seem like a huge waste of resources.

I really enjoyed the first few issues/trades of that one, but lost interest.  Frankly, the whole thing should have been a cracked/sci-fi infused alt-universe WW2.  Once they moved past it, it got much less interesting. 

I’m not saying I’m swearing off the MCU for good. I’ll still keep a relatively open mind to the possibility that something might catch my interest.

Re-read those sentences and tell me if that storyline really “makes sense.”

Thank goodness you found time to give us your deeply critical appraisal of his talents. Wouldn’t want anyone to think otherwise when you said you’d miss him. It’s a qualified kind of missing and we can all respect that.

Pretty sure the movie just says if the entity kills the person, it goes back to the previous person.  They don’t actually say if the person dies through other means.
