This is not that wild of a concept. I was the breadwinner and my husband and I shared a bank account. It was always “our money”, otherwise that’s a really shitty way to treat him. Just because his role was to maintain our household doesn’t make that role any less important. Sexism works both ways.

There is no age limit for unsolicited judgment. Even my friends who claim to be jealous of my child-free existence still also look at me as “less”. And I actually get a lot of support from my mom’s friends, I think they are more appreciative of the choice because they didn’t have any.
