Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner!

I hope Splinter was able to countersue for legal costs.

If only.

Decidedly not rich West Coaster here and I’ve been to several three day weddings and I’m considering one for my own nuptials next summer.  Day 1 will be a bonfire, Day 2 will be the wedding and reception, and Day 3 is tbd.  We’re aiming for a less than $10k wedding.

They do eventually die, especially if you start wearing them every single summer day (thank you Portland, OR and your ridiculously lax work dress codes). In the next iteration I highly recommend trying the cloud version--they’re comfier and easier on your skin (for some reason, the standard Chaco base dries out my

If that’s how their family rolls, a hearty and sincere good for them. I don’t have any kids, but at this point, I’m ready to kick both my partner and one of my dogs out of the bed in the sake of a better night’s sleep. I cannot imagine bunking with a kid.

Definitely disagree with the egg listing. Costco is one of the few places where you can get humanely raised eggs cheaply (I think it’s $5 for 18 eggs) which is easy for a family of 2 to go through within a week or two. It’s one of the best deals around. We (my partner and I) easily make short work of the cherry

Another bus in Portland, OR (the 4 up Division, mid-day)...listening to junkies wax poetically about the fix they were going to get.  To whit, “when I shoot, it’s like fucking my soul.”

Thank you, I was looking for this!

Thank you. I didn’t realized that meds didn’t stabilize the condition.
I wondered about the compliance piece, given the relatively long-term commitment that DBT therapy requires-- I appreciate you brining it up.

I legitimately thought that DBT was the silver bullet for BPD, I appreciate hearing from people who have the diagnosis and have tried it. Thank you.

With no snark intended, I thought BPD was pretty effectively treated with antidepressants and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy?  Is that inaccurate?

My enduring impression of that tape is how boring and unenthusiastic that sex was.

Thousand Oaks isn’t near Pepperdine—it’s 18 Los Angeles miles away. Cal Lutheran is in Thousand Oaks. Wondering if there’s a mistake here?

Pretty sure Joe has.

We used to have a manager who insisted we put our Top 5 Strengths (Strengthsfinder) on our email signatures.  We also had an admin who used them as information to f*&k with people (ex. X has high responsibility, so our admin hid her purchase card statements until the 11th hour so that X couldn't review them if she

This sounds like E-colors.

I work in Training and Development and regularly refer to these assessments as “Work Horoscopes.” Per your tarot card reference, they have value in that they encourage introspection and spark conversations, but not much past that.
The worst thing I've seen come about around MBTI is co-workers using it as a crutch.

She didn’t call the police, she called Parking Enforcement (it’s mentioned in an update to the original story) who sends a meter maid to give a ticket.

Given that neighborhood, the parking, pedestrian, and bicyclist issues, this isn’t surprising. My guess is the concern is for pedestrians and wheelchair users who

I was legit afraid that Joan Jett was going to come up through the toilet while I was on it and bite me in the ass.

I think my tiny first grade brain combined a story about an alligator or snake coming up from the sewer with an MTV video (I Love Rock and Roll) to create that particular, literally piss in your pants,
