Ayup, as I recall the Consumerist or Consumer Reports sent the same dog's DNA to multiple labs and got back totally different reports from each. I think the issue is that they aren't regulated and I'm told that you can't really successfully tease out breed information from DNA.

Le Not So Skinny

I have one dog who's naturally thin and another who's never been overweight (but has been told, at different points in his life, not to gain more weight). They appear to come with the tendency to eat/not eat or stay thin/bulk up as both are fed the same way and get the same level of indulgence.

I agree completely that proper nutrition and exercise are a wonderful way to celebrate the bodies we've been given. I wish you'd understand that a higher BMI and taking care of yourself with proper nutrition and exercise aren't mutually exclusive.
