Those ears!!!!
Hey, the heart wants what the heart wants. I have a perfectly adorable and sweet 4 month niece, who I met, kissed on the head, and walked right past to greet my parents' dogs. The important thing is that you take responsibility for what you love. I'm a great pet parent. I can't imagine being a people parent.
The best instant karma was when my dog decided to go for broke and climbed on the dining room table to grab a big bag full of dried liver treats. The bad news is, he got them and chewed through the bag. The good news is, he was the smallest dog at the house and didn't get any of them (as my parents' dogs ate all the…
My picky eater is an accomplished thief. His greatest score was swiping a line of really expensive salami off a charcuterie plate. We were too impressed with his stealth moves and appreciation of fine cured meats to go after him.
Other greatest hits involve dragging a chicken breast across my laptop, eating my…
Ayup, as I recall the Consumerist or Consumer Reports sent the same dog's DNA to multiple labs and got back totally different reports from each. I think the issue is that they aren't regulated and I'm told that you can't really successfully tease out breed information from DNA.
Mr. Fusspot is looking dapper. Roll on little dude!
Is there anyone in this guy's life who tells him no? Anyone?
In Portland, OR. Where we had this menu (fried chicken for Black History Month) at our federal building cafeteria.
I grew up in Los Angeles so I could be wrong, but I thought black ice was impossible to see anyways, hence the term black ice? The mention of the other truck seems extraneous to me—a way to deflect blame when blame really shouldn't be an issue?
Fucking fantastic—something to look forward to.
This is sad (sad sad, not pathetic sad).
This is encouraging. I have no desire to see this film, but my best friend (whom I never see—I'm in grad school and she lives in the burbs) has created a girls night out involving this film. I half-considered meeting them for drinks and cutting out before the film, but it sounds like I may be able to survive the…
I agree completely that proper nutrition and exercise are a wonderful way to celebrate the bodies we've been given. I wish you'd understand that a higher BMI and taking care of yourself with proper nutrition and exercise aren't mutually exclusive.
My co-worker is overweight and pregnant. This is her second child (the first one was born two weeks late, no gestational diabetes). She's young (under 34), works out every single day (sometimes twice), takes her pre-natal supplements, and eats a textbook "good pregnancy" diet (lots of folic acid, vegetables, lean…
Nothing pleases me more than someone admitting that they have absolutely no idea how vaginas work. Thanks for having the courage to reveal so much about yourself on a public forum.
Oh my goodness, wow. I'm so glad that things worked out and you and your family survived it.
Other newsflash, you can be overweight and have a baby who doesn't have gestational diabetes.
