In my mind I am imaging that the cast is playing along, really having kick ass rehearsals and just sucking up to Trump every step of the way. “Don’t listen to the Haterz Trump! You’re the best! Vote Trump for Trump!” But it’s all a ruse, for when the night comes they will spring some kind of trap.

I want to know who they think is going to be hitting up the internet for particle board furniture and poly-blend sheets in the middle of a financial crisis.

Look of the night though was Kacey Musgrave’s performance garb:

Lots of newbies. Less of bigger, more well-known country stars.

so you are telling me that you would not open his dick in a box because if you are BLASPHEMY!

Garth can’t believe she fell for the old shoe-polish-on-the-binoculars trick.

wait so that means we can use his hair to build a perpetual motion motor and tap in for an endless source of energy??!!

I watched the show and I’m still not sure why they were there. Their lead singer (Patrick?) is so good that the country dude singing with him sounded like he couldn’t hold a note or sing in tune if his life depended on it. Whoever told Thomas Rhett it would be good for his career to sing with a singer way out of his

I would shoot myself to marry him. True fucking story.

Black tie wedding on top, shotgun wedding on bottom.

Hey now. There has already been an all-female heist movie, and that movie was Set It Off. (A less depressing heist movie would be good, though.)

Make it a sequel with Julia Robert’s character leading an all female team to rescue all the guys who get caught and put in a Turkish prison in the first 15 minutes.

I find him even more frustrating than Trump, because at least Trump can be funny. Carson is apparently made of the memes and ecards my great aunt likes to post on Facebook, which probably explains why great aunt types tend to love him.

I think you’re maybe confusing being a singer with being a performer? Because I’m hard pressed to think of a woman currently working who “blows Adele out of the water in terms of pure, raw talent” wrt to her voice (which, listening to music being the primary way that most people enjoy it, is kind of important). On par

I guess I appreciate Adele’s voice, but to me a real singer has to be able to dance too

I know there are a lot of folks hissing about knights and their shining armour, and our apparent shortage of cookies to give, but man, I am happy for the helping hand. I’m glad to have Cooper on board, using his skills and position to keep pushing that line forward. I want more men to stand up and join him.

For me, I don’t think “oh a man said it” means the dude is part of the problem. I just think it shows the truth that women aren’t believed. I don’t see it as a knock on the man. It's a knock on the system and the people who ignore women.

Sometimes I wonder what the feminist movement even wants. Isn’t the goal to change the minds of the privileged and the conservative? To expose them to information in the hopes that they will change and also act in positive ways? This man is doing everything we want men to do. He is showing his support for a feminist

I know a lot of commenters are side-eyeing him but I feel like overall he’s a good egg and it HELPS the situation. He’s not a savior or anything, but he’s taking a step further than just agreeing that things aren’t fair and for that I have him some claps.

This isn’t about needing male backup. It’s about a man recognizing and pledging to do what he can to support his female costars, whether they need him or not.
