Seriously, outside of wanting to look hip in a coffee shop, Macs are Macs and have been for 20 years. Nothing changed except they now look sexy on the outside. Sure if all you know how to do is use a web browser and check email they'll suit you just fine (read, the average non tech savy person who has a computer to

Who in their right mind, assuming educated right mind, would buy a mac? Especially if said person claims to be a gamer!

Do you know if the world shifts to DWT today or tomorrow? I'm afraid!

Dark Souls is sitting on my shelf laughing at me, but as absolutely fantastic as I find these games, I want to be super done with Demon's Souls before I put in Dark Souls because I know I'll never go back, and Dark Souls will consume me all over again. These games are so insanely addictive, I'm completely in

Demon's Souls (cashing in on the WWT)

So we now know there are at least two of us in that boat, we can't be alone. We need to find a way to connect all the calm and normal gamers who want to coop!

I did in the early game, I fear how hard it would be by myself now that I'm later in the game (without spoiling anything, the zombies get much more aggressive). The time I did play alone, I suspect it would be ok but could get boring and maybe really hard, it is clearly a game more enjoyed with friends, nothing like

Anyone have Dead Island PC (via steam preferably) and want to play? My friends bailed about 1/2 to 2/3'rds of the way through and I kinda would like to finish it in coop.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, too many games :( I can't possibly find the time to play them all, it's a shame because I have an itch to pick this up but know I'd never get around to playing it. 2011, what a year for AAA games.

Yeah, I agree, and thanks for seeing my point :)

The folks at BioWare said the same thing "EA will transition to our ways, it's like we acquired them!". Too many cooks in the kitchen saying the same thing, positive way of thinking though ;)

Depends what you are looking for. Bioshock has a fantastic atmosphere, it's a FPS with mild RPGish elements and a great story. Demon Souls also has a fantastic atmosphere (fantasy, so nothing reallllly new), it's and action RPG with heavy on both the action and RPG and doesn't really have a strong story. Bioshock

I too am trying to protect myself from Mario media, I watched the original videos but now I'm staying clear, I suspect it'll be an enjoyable game and what new surprises are there I want to discovery myself.

I'm avoiding all news and videos for this game, I know I want it, and I want it to be 100% a surprise. Little hard to avoid random screen shots however, like above :( Unless I just stop visiting game sites, not really an option.

Honestly, if Demon Souls didn't suck you in, Dark Souls is likely not to. But if you still have Demons Souls, maybe give it another go. I believe I was 10-12 hours in before I even attempted the first boss, and probably 14 hours before progressing further into the game. Yep I remember grinding the first area to level

I was younger and more evenly tempered back then, I would never tolerate that kind of difficulty nowa days. I think I only did it then because none of my friends could, so I wanted to show them up, healthy competition :P

I actually think video games are a waste of time period, but yet I still play them and will continue to do so even though I think I should be ashamed. Weird, but true.

Of all the reviews I have read for Dark and Demons Souls, I myself feel that the warning of extreme difficulty is not expressed in terms that most people could understand. These games are hard, I mean pure rage quit hard even if you are not someone who would normally rage. "I.. I... I just lost how many

I'd suggest Demon's Souls personally. The improvements/tweaks in Dark Souls will be very noticeable if you start with it first then move backwards. Given if you get hooked like the rest of us, you will want to play both, so start with Demons Souls, play it for a 100 hours or so, then jump into Dark Souls lol.

I actually somewhat agree with him, mind you I define success differently. Video games are an escape, a way for us to get away from the things we don't like, to achieve something a little more tangible. I think they are bad for society in general...... I started playing Dark Souls last night, I don't want to be at my
