Which is why my wife and I decided to stream it for family movie night a few years ago. It had been so long since I saw anything but the TV version that I’d forgotten...well, a lot. PG was really something back in the day, actually meaning “parental guidance” as opposed to “100% safe for kids.”

He originally intended to use Springsteen songs in “Mask,” but the studio inserted cheaper Bob Seger songs on him. He was so mad about it, he actually threatened to remove his name from the credits! (I might be wrong, but I think they used the Springsteen tunes later when it came out on dvd.)
He was a big Springsteen fan, too.
