So...it sounds like the immigration agents did their job - they found posts on this guy’s social media that stated that he planned to overstay his visa and work in violation of his non work tourist visa, and they found other suspicious content, and they acted accordingly.

If this was the best question The Salty Waitress received all week, I’d be absolutely horrified to read what didn’t make it.

The trailer for the Mask prequel is way more intense than I had imagined.

uh excuse me sir but section 5 of the NCAA football rules clearly cover a series of downs and line to gain

He was walking rather gingerly, though.

Depends on what they’d be doing if they weren’t running their heads into brick walls.

My guess is that there’s both a compulsory murder charge and a degree of difficulty murder charge for each person.

“A single that isn’t a walk” is also known as a single.

You shouldn't compare Aquino to Bonds. You don't want him to get a big head.

They’re doing it to try and prove if the people they entered the country with are actually relatives. A common tactic being used is to give your child over to someone else and pay them to smuggle them across the border claiming they’re your child.

Meanwhile, my insanely insightful in-the-greys comments drive tens of thousandths of unique pageviews to your site every month, and I’ve yet to see dime one.

Cool idea, and Carli Lloyd should be given the opportunity if she wants to try. However, if an NFL team is really going down that road wouldn’t it make more sense to invite the top men’s soccer players to kick? I respect the ability of Lloyd, Morgan, Ertz, etc. but I suspect that a top US or international male soccer

Since when is getting a six yard running start with no equipment a predictor of NFL talent?

Do you have any idea how many college and high school kickers are better than this? Schools like Ohio State have five or six kids on the roster (non-scholarship) who are all ten times better than this. I can name six high school kids within five miles of my house who are better than this.

Good for her, but is there a reason to believe she would be anything beyond a PR move? The differences in male and female anatomy are brutal and some college soccer player who can’t quite hack it in the MLS is much better player than her. USWNT loses to high school boys.

This kind of begs the question that if Lloyd is given the chance, then why wouldn’t the (at least 10s) of other male college kickers and soccer players who can make the same kicks, be given an opportunity? Just seems like a PR stunt from the NFL that could open up further questions of opportunity and merit. Because

I was a pretty good kicker who started a few D1 games (and rode the bench for many, many more). Right now, in my mid-30s, I could probably hit a 55-yarder with a runup like Carli had in the video.

i would guess that the policy is supposed to be enforced uniformly to avoid the presence or appearance of bias when asking someone to leave

Technically, yeah. But it’s also a seat taken up by someone that could go to other customers, and it’s legitimately a potential put-off to other customers if they come in and see a pattern of people loitering around without food. Just as it’s reasonable for customers to expect timely and accurate service, it’s

I have to hand it to the McD’s manager for seemingly enforcing the time limit on everyone, not just as a pretense for kicking out those they deem undesirable.
