@Intelman: Me too. I just built my first system and am looking for something to keep an eye on it as I put it through its paces. So far I've just been using HWMonitor, which is a nice all-in-one, but as I read around the web, every software seems to interpret its own readings differently. Any other suggestions? Anyone?

Like everyone else here, I always use to eat sardines when I was a kid. For one reason or another I haven't had any since, like, the 7th grade. I suppose I decided sardine breath wouldn't impress the ladies through high school. I'm glad this post brought them up, I think I'm going to buy a can the next time I get a

I've been using the MS Money that came bundled on my computer and recently stopped keeping hand-written records as doubles, going totally digital. Also, I don't let it sync up with my online banking because I think it is important to keep my own, separate, records to compare with the banks' records.

I can imagine, after setting these up, walking outside to see a pile of medium/well-done birds smoldering on my front lawn after they unknowingly fly through the reflective sunbeam. :)

I suck at chopping things, so I'm probably the least qualified to provide instruction, but the part where she demonstrates cutting parallel to the cutting surface (step 2) towards your hand holding the onion seems rather dangerous. One slip with a sharp knife and suddenly you'll have red onions.

Like some others, I've been playing around in Phun for a couple months now. Its like Crayon Physics, but better.

As previously commented, my jailbreak with ZiPhone worked flawlessly on my 8gb iPod Touch. Just today, I did the same thing for my sister's 8gb iPod Touch but with the most recent ZiPhone 3.0 software, and I had some trouble.

Setup was fairly easy and everything worked right away for me on my iPod Touch. I don't have a TV tuner for live tv, and I disabled the "My Documents" sharing because I don't like the idea of broadcasting that all over the joint, but this looks good for accessing video, pics and music from the home computer to my iPod

I'm going to try the no-TV thing when I move out this summer. After that, I should implement a no-video-games thing too. I'm getting sick of wasting my time getting fragged by 14-year-olds with aimbots in Call of Duty.

Cut a Pineapple With Confidence? Wow. I'm not sure I've ever Apprehensively Cut a Pineapple. However, now all I need to learn is Public Speaking With Confidence, and I'll be all set. :)

Working in a small, one-room office with four other people doesn't bode too well for my so-called lunch breaks. If I pack a lunch, I eat it at my desk. If I go out for lunch, I bring it back and eat at my desk.

I did this a while ago because I have a handful of domains with emails attached to them. I needed to be able to access my account from work, home, etc, so this is really helpful. At first, I was planning on setting up IMAP accounts with Thunderbird, which I also love, but it turns out that I'm finding myself solely

@sbw07: Same for me, preview no-workey. I think it may have to do with the Firefox 2.0.0.13 update. I had another extension installed, Stealther, and after the update it totaly jacked up my Firefox, I had to uninstall it and then manually reset all of the about:config entries it made for the addon.

I did this with a bundle install a few weeks ago, and I must say that because of it I finally feel like the iPod Touch is worth the purchase price. Before, I would barely use my Touch because I'm not one of these "Walk everywhere with music in my ears" people, but now I carry it around everywhere!

@ronnsprocket: Yeah, me too. I guess I should stop being so stubborn, and/or lazy, and just find and then make an appointment with a doctor. I get back/shoulder/arm pains 4-5 times a month... but have been getting them for the past 10 years, so, if it hasn't killed me yet. My dad never goes to doctors, so thats where

@rabiddachshund: Your Mileage May Vary. Acronyms, FTW! Regarding your issues, I've seen things around the 'net regarding ZiPhone having trouble jailbreaking 16GB iPods and iPhones something to do with a BSD root error, which you may wish to look into.

@mkstool: OhmygodIthinkIjustwetmyself! Awesome, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Though, for the information of others, the proper item to look for is "iPhone 1.1.4 Apps." Now I'm wishing I did this a long time ago. Eeee! Wiggly icons!

@bdawg923: That is the exact area where I am confused as well, so you may wish to seek the advice of a more experienced jailbreaker. You see, I never jailbreaked before either, so I upgraded to 1.1.4 (but didn't restore, so all my files were intact) and then I ran ZiPhone, which, yes, jailbreaked my iPod Touch and
