Game looks fun and I thought the trailer was fine in that it got me interested in the game. *shrugs*

Probably licensing. Sony doesn't want to pay Dolby royalties. HDR10, HDR10+ and 3d audio are royalty free.

I feel ya.  It is odd to me that the Bluray app can play Dolby Atmos but nothing else can.

I have always taken issue with the discourse around Quiet which always just sounded to me like slut-shaming. Wanting a Resident Evil giantess to sit on you is perfectly cool but a woman existing in a bikini is Japanese perviness in full effect.

Also, I think you misunderstood a key point in the plot. Lalo never thought Jimmy or Kim would actually shoot Gus. He knew Gus wouldn’t be the one to answer the door. He was just creating a chaotic diversion so he could sneak into the lab.

Glass is mostly transparent to 2.4 and 5 Ghz wifi unless its coated in something like a UV blocker, is low E glass, or its leaded glass. It’ll still attenuate your signal somewhat, but if its enough to knock you offline your signal was pretty weak to start with.

If you intend to compete with other players in person or online, yeah. I’m too shitty at fighting games for all that, and I don’t have time to catch up between work, social life and my other hobbies.

he’s not gonna fuck you, dude

Never takes long for a Musk bro to show up and post something cringy and hilarious.

On behalf of all Kinja, let me thank you for not putting this in a slideshow or a video.

They’re mostly steering clear.  Her being equally if not more guilty than him doesn’t sit well with their “Women can do no wrong” stance.

What a weird way to live your life

Okay, Stephen Ddungu here. Firstly Jeremy, I didn’t know you were going to make it a race issue, I’m quite disappointed to be honest.

Good times back when demo’s were randomly zipped files that you had to hope wasn’t a virus or something. (I was like 8 or something, I had no idea what I was doing). But i’ll always remember the helicopter crashing and then “Time to kick ass and chew bubble gum”.

II also grew up on Duke Nukem. 3D was the first game demo I ever downloaded and played. (starting on that rootop when things start going wrong was only beat by Half Life’s intro a bit later) But holy hell has it aged badly. The comedy I mean.

Counterpoint: sounding “Professional” at work is gatekeeping. Your linguistic patterns are not a meaningful measure of your qualities as a worker.

That’s what I thought worked so well with Sekiro; every boss required you to hone the same core skills. All of the tools (in-game, not metaphorical) were there to supplement your skillset. There was a lot of pattern recognition & memorization, sure, but by the end I actually felt like I was good at the game. I wasn’t

Elden Ring is infinitely easier than Demon’s Souls if you run around doing a lot of exploration and mini-dungeons instead of beelining story bosses, and if you don’t impose limitations on yourself like “don’t use ash summons.” And with a couple exceptions, there are very few “repeat this frustrating section over and

From frequently spends a lot of time and mechanics making you *unlearn* what the last franchise taught you, BUT since Elden Ring is mechanically almost identical to Dark Souls this is definitely less the case. Bloodborne and Sekiro though? Might actually be harder (in some respects) if you are familiar with Souls.

That’s is my issue with “Soulsborne” games. Who the fuck has the time for a game designed around the player having to repeat the same section again and again and again until they have some bullshit pattern memorized? I lived through the NES days, and I remember the reason that games were designed like this is because
