I have the feeling that both of these movies are going to have very weighty themes that deserve hours of pondering — if not days — after viewing them, so immediately seeing another movie after seeing one does the first a grave injustice.

Exactly! Thought that scene shown of them fighting together was a bit disappointing for that reason.

I’m sure all the “ermahgerd GURLS R BAD” goons will come piling in to explain their many alternative reasons for not liking this movie, but so far it looks great.

Exactly! From the interviews I’ve seen, Olsen sounds furious about the role, and I can’t say I blame her. She did a just amazing job in WandaVision, which I absolutely loved, and the character’s arc was amazing.

Not following your point. Yes, he’s a white male, and makes movies he wants to make — which are usually homages to genres he loved growing up. What’s your conclusion here though?
