Ach, sometimes you write things in clear, precise poise and everyone gets it, and other nights you come home and you just feel like taking a tone that goes for being extra-ranty with the hope that the over-the-top rantiness of it comes off as amusing in an “old man yells at clouds” kind of way.

While I appreciate that sentiment, my chosen wording intentionally did not in any way “take shots at” autistic folks. I said they have a great reason to not go out if they don’t enjoy such activities.

In future discussions about box office, can we just please skip the very boring requirement that a specific set of people who are almost certainly all single guys show up to state how they prefer watching movies at home?

Every review I’ve seen has been pretty much “It’s not at the level of the first three but it’s a lot better than #4" and “while there’s not a ton of reason given for this movie exists, it’s still a lot of fun for what it is”.

Don’t see any evidence for that tbh.

Because unless you’re a complete introvert, seeing a huge movie with a crowd of people is a lot more exciting than watching it home alone.

You know, one of Ford’s many underrated talents is that he plays extremely well off of whoever you put him with. Who does the guy not have instant chemistry with? Pity there weren’t more movies with he was partnered up with another big actor on Connery’s level.
