Now see - that’s a great story! Have the plot of the movie include the twist that Skynet is actually fairly benevolent and it’s humanity that forced the war. Ties into real life in so many interesting ways.

I would love to see a gifted film student break down exactly what made the first two Terminator movies work so well, and explain how zero of those things were in the sequels.

I don’t get why it’s even a debate. They recast Alec Guiness and it was terrific, even if the writing & direction on the recent Obi-Wan series was dire.

Allegedly the Game of Thrones showrunners pitched a trilogy set in The Old Republic that was insanely good. They had put a ton of thought and effort into it, and a friend at ILM who was there for the pitch said it was the best Star Wars thing he’d ever seen.
One of my favorite things about message boards is the way that just mentioning “spoilers are not great” always gets replies from the absolute most useless form of trolls: spoiler defenders.
As I make my way through this huge game, it would be so nice if half my internet headlines weren’t one massive item or plot spoiler after another these days, but what are you gonna do.
