I’m so sorry you were damaged so badly as a child but a movie message board probably isn’t the place to get the therapy you need.

The four main women in the movie were fantastic, especially Angela Basset. Everything else about it felt all over the map, from the plot to the CGI and especially Namor.
True. Though I’m a big believer of judging people on intent and not outcome.
The death Kendall caused was a pretty bad accident and something he clearly deeply regrets, while Connor’s ongoing treatment of Willa is ongoing and intentional. Certainly not trying to excuse the death but it wasn’t murder, while Connor can…
I think the big problem isn’t that people aren’t willing to wait for the buildup, it’s that the core characters being focused on in Phase 4 don’t have the charisma or team dynamic that made Phases 1-2 work even with a few of the more mediocre stories.
None of the new actors have the appeal that ScarJo, Evans,…
Have always been a big fan of Zelda II.
Completely with you on this one, Lex.
Yet another article around “outrage” created by two people’s posts on Instagram or Twitter.
What is with most of these being all in the last year or two?
Amazing writeup. Thanks Lex.
You know, the one thing we’ve never seen much of in sci-fi: someone inventing an engine that runs on all biomass, in essentially the same way we can run off a ton of different kinds of foods. Feed it bushes, the machine runs a few weeks. Feed it a cow, it runs for a month.

Seriously. I’m living in Spain and other than the occasional really old guy walking on the street alone, literally no one here wears masks, inside or outside, and covid rates here are under control.
At what point in the last six months exactly did anti-vax morons who know absolutely nothing about what they’re talking about decide to start repeating the phrase “after everything we know now”, without being able to explain what that means or back it up in any way?
Counterpoint: whatever you think of it, the stories and that world have made a lot of children very happy, and that has value.
The Breaking Bad one was awful. Funny is not taking actors and having them repeat old lines but with a product name cut-and-pasted into it. Funny is doing something clever.
“Say. Its. Name.”? Painful.
Er, I have to ask... what are you doing exactly?
Living in a city, it’s amazing how often I see people driving around the city at night who have forgotten to turn their headlights on. Very often elderly.
Shrug. I spent the summer of 1999 playing GoldenEye almost nonstop. It was a blast. Sure, FPS’s have advanced a lot since then but that doesn’t mean the game wasn’t hugely enjoyable.
For me for some reason I mostly only like SNL when it goes utterly random, and for that my favorite skit turned out to be the Miss Universe one, inspired by the recent Miss France’s oddly hoarse yelling of her country’s name.
