+1 on that. My office is right on 394 with a view of the highway where I can hear any loud car coming from a mile away and the number of fart cans I hear on a daily basis is incredibly annoying. And they’re all Civics, WRX, and 1.8T old VAG products.

My favorite flavor text:

They’re like the PT Cruiser. It’s not the vehicle I dislike as much as it’s the type of owner associated with them. I’ve never seen one of these on the road that didn’t look like it went trough the Pep Boys accessory drive-thru and purchased everything on the menu.

I agree with all examples, but the CEL is just stupid when all it takes to show you the specific diagnostic trouble codes is a 5-digit display (not even taking into consideration how unbelievably easier this is in the era of TFT screen dashboards with animated gauges). Could we at least have both? Like, keep the CEL

Nah, this is exactly what I want console upgrades to be: basically phone upgrades. Backwards compatible, frequent and optional.

I had a pretty good gaming PC near the start of last gen, and here I am at the start of last gen looking at what I’d have to replace to compete with a next-gen console - everything except the PSU, case, and maybe the RAM would have to go, putting me at right around the same price as a next gen console just to get

I have a fairly expensive, very new house, and I’d still have to run several hundred feet of ethernet through the house (including down the stairs) to hardwire a desktop.

Some of us rent and can't run cables up 3 floors.

Well, welcome to the party, slackers...

My first true love was an ‘87 Starion/Conquest

“Not saying it wasn’t catastrophic.”

I made the same decision, but found out the battery in my Mustang wasn’t holding a charge.

Doing great! After nearly 3 years in an apartment, paying rising rent, we’re buying a house. The mortgage payment will be about half what we’re paying in rent. Life is good, and getting better.
