Same here in Minnesota. 30mph all the way down the ramp, force themselves into traffic, and then stomp on the gas.

Those wheels!

I’m wondering why someone hasn’t just made all crime illegal.

I take it back. Forgot this was a BOF truck, watched the vid and clearly a solid axle at the rear:

I didn’t watch the full video.. but based on the clip of the hill climb, they use the same tactic as subie folk - speed and momentum to make up for the lack of a proper 4x4 setup.

Just FYI, but by clicking the article and especially by leaving a comment you’re adding to the engagement metrics that lead to even more political articles.

IMSA multi-class racing is where it’s at.

Hobbies lead to my DD choice. I need something to lug my fishing kayak, mountain bike, and camping gear to places that are sometimes a ways off the beaten path. My previous daily was a 2010 Xterra. Great vehicle, but once it got past the 220k mile mark things just started going downhill. 12 years of MN winters didn’t

Missed this one. Went to Germany a few years ago, and it just so happened that we were about an hour from the ‘Ring. The first weekend was the Old Timer Grand Prix, and the second was the ADAC race weekend. The race was cool, but the Old Timer.. holy shit, it was awesome. It was a complete coincidence and I was lucky

Yeah, went from drought to almost state wide flooding.  Fun stuff.

With the drought last year there were more than a few places you could walk across the Mississippi here in Minnesota, although you would have to get your feet wet. This year.. not so much.

I’ve done some work at the local yards here. Just got a call from them today, actually. They’re noisy places. At some point they made the mandate for hearing protection to consist of ear plugs and over the ear protection... One of the guys told me they just didn’t want you to hear the train before it ran you over.

I guess you could put the car seat on the rear deck?

Yup.. I sold my 6th gen 1LE in ‘21 for $44k, a few grand more than I paid new.  Figured I’d pick one up again around now when they should be at or below $30k for one in decent shape.  Nope.

Yeah, base ZR2 / RRaptor is a closer comparison. They’re both on 285/70/17 tires. More HP on the Raptor plus the live valve shocks are an upgrade, but they’re both pretty similar when it comes to underbody armor (basic thin steel stuff, not full coverage).

I’ve noticed folks sitting 1+ car length back from the line or the car in front of them generally have their face stuck in a phone, and use that space so they can creep ahead without paying attention.

As the owner of a second gen Colorado with a diesel... :(

35 miles seems a bit high. I’ve put just over 45k miles on my ZR2 in the 2 years I’ve owned it, and I *think* the hour counter is around 2000 but I took the moto into work today so I can’t check.

My ZR2 has 2wd / full time 4wd / 4 hi / 4 lo.
