Damn, that’s flyin’.  Fastest I’ve managed ~100 miles is about 8.5 hours.  240 miles took about 20 hours.. that one hurt.

Well my KTM only cost $11k and gets 50mpg, so clearly you were ripped off.

I figured they would keep as much of the standard Mustang chassis as they could, probably lets them get away with not crash testing the shiny new toy.  Plus, I’m sure a GT3 chassis wouldn’t pass crash tests anyways.

You realize this is the top end model geared towards off-roading, not towing?

650hp of supercharged fun

I drive the previous gen ZR2 extended cab / long bed.

I’ve seen some real world reports of 19-21mpg if not going crazy on the highway.

I picked up my ZR2 diesel for a hair under $45k.  To get into a full size with similar options (heated seats, heated steering wheel, at least a locking rear diff) you need to stack on the packages and it would be 55-65k to get a pretty similar spec.

Well at least the tree they hit was quite literally on the hospital grounds, so I’m sure it was a quick ride there.

Looks like higher mileage C6's are dropping into that range. Easy to fix any issues, and a solid base for a track car.

Yup, I feel this article.  Picked up a KTM 690 Enduro 2 years ago at the ripe old age of 40.  Now, it’s a great bike.  Fun as hell, plenty of power, handles amazingly.. but I think I fixated too much on the off-roady part and not enough on the comfort.  I don’t have dirt right out my back door, it’s at least a 1 hour

Didn’t realize pricing was up on the Ford site.  Yeah I think I’d be sticking with the Cramro

You can still get a ‘new’ Camaro in 2024, and I have a feeling that for the extra $15-20k this Dark Horse isn’t going to be much faster than an SS 1LE. The ZL1 will probably give it a good stomping.

You can option a GT close to (or above?) $60k, so I’m sure the Dark Horse will be getting towards $70k.. and I’d rather have 650hp

Mom doesn’t charge you rent?

My mortgage is $999/month

2005 Kawasaki Z1000 - paid off

Dude, it’s a hobby.  You can spend as much or as little on it as you like.  I’m about $3k into my fishing kayak, and I guarantee it works better than your $200 one for what I want it to do.

An LMTV. Relatively small, easier to hide and get back in to spots. Simple diesel. Pair it up with one of those old diesel army motorcycles for the perfect combo. Or a roof full of solar panels and a newer BEV moto.

Yup, the person in their 2 ton vehicle should be totally scared of the one on a bike. Super great take, for sure.
