That truck is damn near new compared to most of them.
That truck is damn near new compared to most of them.
I dunno, have you seen some of the trucks the scrap metal collectors are running around the twin cities? Most of the damn things are almost folded in half yet still loaded up with a ton of scrap.
Feel free to explain. Although I have a feeling you’re just simping for the wealthy.
Subaru. Between the dude-bro image of the performance models, and the drivers of the newer ones taking after the Prius habit of driving either infuriatingly slow or drafting like it’s a Nascar race I just couldn’t bring myself to buy one. And the instagram fauxverlanders who throw 31" AT’s and a 1" lift kit on a…
O rly? Does it change anything about the obscene amounts of wealth they’re hoarding?
So, if this guy was ‘only’ a 1 billionaire, he could pay $138,000 a day for 7,246.4 days, or almost 20 years before he was out of money. Or if it stays a weekly charge, he could keep it parked for 140 years. Not counting the cost of the yacht, of course.
I would love to have an EV for my daily commute, but I don’t have the space / money for a second (non-motorcycle) vehicle right now. I can’t do a single vehicle EV unless I want to give up heading to remote locations and fishing / camping / biking etc.
Was that before or after his face transplant?
Ah yes, the newest drivel posted by the anti-ev crowd.
As someone who’s dealt with a little bit of municipal (and military) stuff, it’s not about the material costs. It’s about the mountain of paperwork and forms needed for compliance.
That side profile.. fan-fuckin’-tastic.
Thank you for the correct use of “damping” instead of “dampening”.
Yeah, the Xtra cab is only 2 doors and no rear seats. I’m all for the no rear seats, but not having suicide doors on the back will make loading tough. Even with the rear doors on my X-cab it can be a pain getting some things back there.
Looks neat, but only double cab for the TRD models. And long bed only available on the Trailhunter with that stupid sport bar.
That’s the last gen, no diesel for current gen. And that engine cover is doing some work. I took mine off, thought I had a pic but can’t find it.
Coming soon to a quiet back country campsite near you: even more obnoxiously loud piped side by sides to tear up the trails.
I saw that car during the AVD Old Timer Grand Prix at the Nurburgring. Sounded amazing.
I’m an 'elder' millennial (early 40's) and it blows my mind how anyone younger than me can be conservative.
Yeah, I also look redneck-ish. It's funny how they always complain about 'liberal propaganda' and how they always have to hear it, but I've never once brought up politics or anything remotely close. It's always the right wing chuds who start off with some snide remark. I'd love to tell them to fuck off but I value…
Same here. I think it's damn near the same size as my old Xterra. I do too many back country / remote trips to switch to electric though. Hopefully by the time my current vehicle is in need of replacement the infrastructure is in place to make that a non-issue.
