DCT isn’t great if you get stuck, either. Buddy worked for a Hyundai dealer for a bit, had a Kona with the DCT. For some reason he tried to follow me in my Xterra down an unplowed driveway, somewhere around a foot of snow. We managed to push him out, but the smell coming from the clutches was something else.
Colorado Z71 / ZR2 get the rear sliding window stock, can be added to the lower trims. Not power, though. Not an issue with my extended cab, as I can reach it, but with the new ones all being crew cabs that makes it a bit tougher. You can get a sunroof on the new ones, though.
Money no object? A Rolls Royce or Bentley with a chauffer on retainer to drive my mom around. She’s perfectly capable of driving - no health issues or anything. She’s just not very good at it.
Laminated safety glass. Tempered glass tends to shatter into many, many pieces if you tweak it wrong. Been there, done that.
