It looks like someone overinflated a 718
Most of my vehicles have been GM, although my longest owned / driven was a Nissan Xterra. Last two new vehicles have been Chevy. GM has plenty of issues, but when they let their engineers loose on a performance trim they really nail the bang for the buck. The 1LE pack for the Camaro and ZR2 Colorado didn’t disappoint.
Hell, that looks like more skid plate than my ZR2 came with from the factory. Looks like a solid little setup that would cover 95% of what folks actually do off-road.
It’s pretty weird given what Cadillac was doing in the early 2000's.
Has Tesla confirmed that FSD was not engaged in this car at the time of the accident? Seems like it would be in their best interest to do so.
I was gonna say, at 5500 lbs it’s heavier than my Colorado..
I don’t go to the dealer often, but around 2017 when I finally started making Adult Money I decided it was time for an early mid-life crisis purchase. I had never owned a proper V8 and after a little bit of research the 1LE Camaro had it’s hooks in me. I knew exactly what I wanted - Camaro 1SS with only the 1LE…
I’m guessing they just upped the current limit (amp draw) to the motors.
Gawd damn that thing is sexy
It’s always fun to drop the zeros off to make it more relevant to us plebs.. so $9,400,000 and $300,000 becomes $94 and $3, which is less than the taxes most of us would pay on a $94 purchase.
Yeah, I wanted to watch until I read that and the Pit Viper endorsements. The only good thing about BRCC and those stupid sunglasses is they make d-bag detection pretty easy.
I really want to take one of these and turn it into a monster track car..
Oh for sure, although peak torque still doesn’t hit until 4000rpm with the VQ. It does have 20 ft/lb on the Taco.
Loved my Xterra. Almost bought another one but the 2014-2015 really shot up in value, even above the usual pandemic price jump of used cars.
I had a 2010 Xterra for years (still do, just haven’t driven it in quite some time). Buddy picked up a 2016 Taco a few years ago and I was so thoroughly underwhelmed when I rode in it and drove it around a bit. Interior features were a hair nicer (actual screen, push button start) but the materials didn’t feel much…
