Oooo that brought some reich-wing dipshits out of the woodworks.

It’s always fun to drop the zeros off to make it more relevant to us plebs.. so $9,400,000 and $300,000 becomes $94 and $3, which is less than the taxes most of us would pay on a $94 purchase.

Yeah, I wanted to watch until I read that and the Pit Viper endorsements. The only good thing about BRCC and those stupid sunglasses is they make d-bag detection pretty easy.

I really want to take one of these and turn it into a monster track car..

Oh for sure, although peak torque still doesn’t hit until 4000rpm with the VQ.  It does have 20 ft/lb on the Taco.

Loved my Xterra.  Almost bought another one but the 2014-2015 really shot up in value, even above the usual pandemic price jump of used cars.

I had a 2010 Xterra for years (still do, just haven’t driven it in quite some time).  Buddy picked up a 2016 Taco a few years ago and I was so thoroughly underwhelmed when I rode in it and drove it around a bit.  Interior features were a hair nicer (actual screen, push button start) but the materials didn’t feel much

Buddy of mine picked up a 2016 a few years ago.  He hasn’t had any issues with it except the seating position is finally starting to get to him.

Toyota Tacoma. Wheezy engine, indecisive transmission, awkward seating position.  For some reason people pretend it’s not as outdated as the Frontier.  It coasts along on the Tacoma = Good fanboys, and the ease of making it look ‘overland chic’ sure isn’t hurting.

The SS 1LE really is an amazing car, highly recommend driving one if you get the chance

Which EV has the muskrat built from scratch?  Which rocket has he launched into space?

At the same trim levels, the full size is usually $10k+ more.

Not as much of an increase as I thought it would be, at least for the ZR2 models. A ‘22 crew cab is $47k with the freight charge. $48k for the refresh isn’t too bad, especially considering it’s on 33's from the factory.

The only things I bring a vehicle in for someone other than me to work on is tires and alignments, only because I don’t have the equipment.  So far I haven’t been ripped off for either of those.

Hmmm.. that’d be a good match for my desert sand metallic ZR2

I went for the rare spec.  Hopefully there’s some nutter like me who really wants an extended cab diesel ZR2 in a few years if I decide not to hold on to it.

For the most part, it sucks. Traffic sucks, all the salt they dump on the road sucks, clearing the driveway sucks..

That’s the problem with just about any sort of commentary like that post-2016.. there’s a (way too large) group of people who post things like that and fully believe it.

God damn I hope that’s sarcasm

Best overall is also the one I’ve owned the longest. 2010 Xterra - bought in 2013 with about 82,000 miles, now at somewhere around 240,000 IIRC. Taken me all over the states, off road in many of them. Spent plenty of nights sleeping inside. Was a great MTB / kayak transporter. If they were still being made I would
