Not as much of an increase as I thought it would be, at least for the ZR2 models. A ‘22 crew cab is $47k with the freight charge. $48k for the refresh isn’t too bad, especially considering it’s on 33's from the factory.
The only things I bring a vehicle in for someone other than me to work on is tires and alignments, only because I don’t have the equipment. So far I haven’t been ripped off for either of those.
Hmmm.. that’d be a good match for my desert sand metallic ZR2
I went for the rare spec. Hopefully there’s some nutter like me who really wants an extended cab diesel ZR2 in a few years if I decide not to hold on to it.
For the most part, it sucks. Traffic sucks, all the salt they dump on the road sucks, clearing the driveway sucks..
That’s the problem with just about any sort of commentary like that post-2016.. there’s a (way too large) group of people who post things like that and fully believe it.
God damn I hope that’s sarcasm
Best overall is also the one I’ve owned the longest. 2010 Xterra - bought in 2013 with about 82,000 miles, now at somewhere around 240,000 IIRC. Taken me all over the states, off road in many of them. Spent plenty of nights sleeping inside. Was a great MTB / kayak transporter. If they were still being made I would…
It’s also a reference to what the remains look like after a high speed crash.
I’m planning on traveling, but it will be a road trip leaving Thursday night and getting back sometime Tuesday. Seems like a good time to head down to KC for some BBQ and then a little farther south to go check out Big Brutus (https://www.bigbrutus.org/)
Yeah, the street parking (and parking situation in general) was a learning experience when we first got there. We were staying in Zelle. So many fun roads around there, wish I had my motorcycle.
I spent a little over a week in Germany in 2019, small town areas west of Frankfurt. Didn’t see much for full size trucks around, and didn’t think much of it until we did see one. Stuck out like a sore thumb on the roads there.
Neutral:
surcharge charging charge...
It’ll be fun to see all the surcharges tacked on by my suppliers stay even as shipping and materials costs fall..
Ah, super scientific.
Asking why you don’t see many cops at a right wing rally is like asking why you never see Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana in the same room together..
You must have measured it, how did it compare to the frames of other trucks that you’ve measured?
A 40*f temp drop is expected here Thursday afternoon, 70* to 30* over the course of a few hours as this arctic front pushes in.
